All was fine. Maybe as an improvement there could be a mini corner with cutlery, cups and even an electric kettle just in case.

Calm location near town centre and smaller shops. No sounds from neighboring guests inside the property as well. Relaxation in the garden or next to the swimming pool. Trees and other greenery support the quiet time.

Great location in old town. It took a little time to understand the parking arrangement and how to find reception (parking is in the rear of the building and the reception is in the front). We recommend temporarily parking in old town to check in and bring luggage up and then move the car to the rear. Excellent restaurant on site and a nice breakfast buffet. Family owned and operated. Very accommodating staff!

I preferred to have an electrical socket next to the study desk, so that I could keep my laptop charged. Similar, I would have preferred to have an electrical socket closer to the other side of the bed, for phone charging.

I liked the staff and the overall room and location. The staff was friendly and supportive (helped with EV charging and late check-out). The room was big, great terrace with garden view.

Trying to book in was a nightmare knocking on doors and no answer. 6 hours of riding motorbike and then trying to get booked in took nearly an hour to find where to book in.

It was a bit confusing at arrival to understand where you should check in and collect the keys. The location was a bit strange but it was just because it was off to the side of a lovely little town and streets to walk in. The shower was a bit small and would leak but nothing a towel couldn't clean up.

The staff was friendly. The rooms where clean and comfortable. Loved the air conditioning. Within a 5 min walk you would be in a lovely street in the center of the town.

...Unfortunately, when we were leaving the restaurant we were asked by staff to pay for these two beers, which was 20 euros (we didn't pay after all, but we felt stupid trying to explain the situation to them and then wait for them to figure it out). Also, the owner told us we will be staying in different hotel than we have booked. It's not clear to me in the retrospective if we were asked if it's fine for us or we had other options. We were not expecting that he would gave us some highly inferior accomodation anyways... To ther hotel we were moved to (Villa) was nothing like any of the pictures we've seen when we were booking the Gästehaus am Stadtpark. The attic room was very small, had two large ottomans instead of beds (my feet were overhanging off the edge and the width of these ottomans was shorter than a regular single bed) and they were very, very uncomfortable. Because of the attic, room was very hot and one little small roof window wide open had no effect (window couldn't be covered for the early morning so that's also inconvenient). Comforters were too warm (winter ones?) so that was made everything even worse. Eventually, we made it through the night with AC running on full blow but we both hated it and mostly had very bad sleep. (If you are not fond of AC and it makes you sneeze this room will be hell for you). We didn't manage to connect to Wifi. I could list all small other annoyances but I will end it here.

After arrival we were greeted by the owner of the hotel and he was super friendly nice guy, he seated us in his restaurant and brought us two quarts of beer as the welcome gift :)

Oh, man... The description and the photos promised a great overnight stay on the long trip. But it was not. I believe the Gästehaus is being renovated - there were pieces of building materials all over the place. Unfortunately, our room had not been renovated yet - and it was simply old, dirty - and the worst of all - smelly (it must be a smoking room first...). It wasn't the experience we expected, and until it is refurbished - not recommended.

To be fair : - the room we got was big and had a balcony. - There is comfortable parking next to the building, and the Gästehaus is indeed next to Stadtpark. - The staff is friendly. - The main Hotel building (walking distance from Gästehaus ) is located at the Stadplatz and has a Restaurant which seems to be pretty popular among locals.
