Excellent budget place to stay in the center of Linz

Clean and pleasant. Friendly staff in the morning

Rather distant from the town centre and local area a little unsalubrious. I didn't arrive late but reception not open ( not a problem as sent a code to collect key)

Hotel has a secure area for bikes. Staff helpful. Just outside the central area but no A/C. Had to open the window to cool it down and there was a lot of noise. Bad nights sleep. No toilet in the room but a shared one is on the staircase. There is also a washing machine you can use. If I stayed there again I would ask for a room not facing the roads. Corner property. Cleanliness good , staff helpful..

Location was ok.

If I ha d known there was no elevator I would not have booked. There were 51 steps to my floor , I had 3 bags and I have a bad knee. It was not good, Booking .Com should take the blame for not advertising there was no elevator.

The reception staff are lovely. Very nice lady who went out of her way to help. Nice location for the Danube bike trail.very east to get on and off. Easy cheap washing machine and dryer. Breakfast was nice.

Stairs can be a killer after long ride.

I didn't like this hotel at all.

Location is central Linz with virtually no parking around and difficult to get to. I was driving with my car full of luggage and almost got lost. When I eventually got to the hotel, I wanted to take a hot shower after a long journey. But I could not even get a hot shower because there is only one shower and 3/4 toilets. The only shower in the hotel only had cold water as the hot water tap was broken. I went to the reception but there was no one there and it seemed the staff all went home. There was only one staff member in the hotel and she disappeared as soon as I checked in. I ended up taking a very cold shower and chose to sleep it out till the next morning when I left early.

It was a bit noisy. You can hear the sounds coming from other rooms or the corridor

This was my third time to stay here at Wilder Mann. Conveniently located (less than 10 min from train/bus), very very clean, very comfortable. Great showers in the room. Love the breakfast, well worth the 12 euros! I was able to leave my bags before & after check-in. The staff is very approachable. Even if you need to check in later (past 18:00) arrangements can be made. This is my go-to place in Linz! I'll be back!

in the common room, it might be nice to have a kettle to make tea, or a microwave to heat up some food picked up at Spar -- and maybe a small fridge in the room....

Easy to check in out of hours. Room more than adequate. En suite-shower but not toilet, however you know that when you book.
