The view! you're literally over the lake, it's unbelievable. Also the size of the room was great and I really like the shower.

The breakfast was very good and varied. The hotel's location is very pleasant, with good views and scenery.

The transportation is scarce and runs out very early! On the other hand, several hotels I've stayed at in Zell am See previously provided a valid lift pass at no cost! The pass provided by the hotel wasn't valid for the lift up the mountain! It didn't even offer the 10% discount!

All about the views. Possibly the only thing better than being in Zell am See is being across the lake looking at the views from the sunny side. The apartment was comfortable and the staff were very kind. Good continental breakfast to start the day too was a nice bonus. We're looking forward to staying again.

Thought we had booked a lake view, ended up looking at a hedge very depressing.

This is a difficult review to write because the staff were AMAZING, the location is AMAZING with a private entrance into the lake and views from The breakfast room that are breathtaking, but that’s where it ends I’m afraid.

The room I was given was a tiny attic room which wasn’t even shown on the website. It said countryside view, which was a view of the very busy road with a few bushes next to it. It was outdated and extremely hot. I had to have the window open to be able to sleep which of course meant that insects entered the room. The shower leaked and the air vent was dirty. There were no toiletries except a plastic bottle of handsoap that looked like it was years old and the paint was chipping away over the shower. A small single bed with a very uncomfortable pillow. There were two outlets in the entire room, one by the tv and one by the door. No where near to charge your phone for an alarm. The breakfast was just ok, cold meats and cheeses, cereals and bread but only hot option was boiled eggs which were warm. Parking was included which is great but other guests parked so poorly I had to park on the sidewalk my final night.

The hotel is located on the shore of the Zeller See and you can admire the snowy Kitzsteinhorn from your balcony or even from your bed. In the evening you can see the lights from the Zell am See resort reflected beautifully on the surface of the lake. The appartment is very bright and warm, soundproof, on the third floor. The private kitchen is very useful. The appartment has two separate balconies with view on the lake.

Because of the location in Thumersbach, you can only reach Zell am See city center, any supermarket or any ski lift by car (there are few buses available).

Great location, stunning views. Very friendly staff/owner. Breakfast was delicious. Clean room with fresh towels every day.

Very good. Clean. Nice breakfast. Would suit people travelling with a car more perhaps. Bus transport stops approximately 7pm. Taxi to hotel from Zell am See approximately €20 per journey.
