The place was beautifully designed, very clean and spacious. The bed was super comfortable. Hartl was very kind and hospitable. Perfect location: close to a supermarket, bus stations, ferry, restaurants We loved it.Thank you Hartl.

Stairs, ... many stairs - you must climb up two stories to reach the apartment.

We made a reservation for a stay in August but had to cancel because the airline canceled our flight and thus the entire trip was canceled. Although it was after the agreed cancellation date the owner was kind enough to allow us to rebook on different dates about a month later. We appreciate his kindness as he was not obliged to do so. Speaking of that - we met Rainer in person upon our arrival and he is a very nice and responsive guy. The apartment is spacious - large bedroom, living room, dining room, kitchenette, bathroom, and toilet. The apartment is well-equipped and everything (facilities, equipment, and furniture) seems brand new. Great location, and some nice eating options within walking distance. The ferry to cross the Danube is less than 200m away. From the windows, there are views in 3 directions and you can see the Danube and the vineyards on the mountain slopes.

The top-floor apartment just under the roof gets quite hot during the summer.

Nice location in the centre of Wachau area. Newly renovated appartment. Close to the grocery.

I understand that the apartment shares a storage shed and yard with a working farm, but it would be good to clean up the scattered tools and mess in the yard.

Apartment, clean, modern, large. If in previous reviews it was written that something is missing (wine glasses, a mat for the bathroom) everything is completed. View of the vineyards, the castle and partly the Danube. Host very nice, attentive, in the apartment we found apricot jam and nectar - products of the host. Very tasty. Parking without problems right at the accommodation.

Super comfy and like a brand-new apartment we had. Ideal location and a very friendly owner we could meet. Without a prior request, e-bike charging was solved immediately.

The apartment was new, looked like the photos, and was well equipped. Everything worked. Very comfortable beds. Ideal base for our short stay.

Clean and comfortable room, situated in a lovely countryside scenery. Great place to stay for hiking, wine-tasting and consuming apricots and apricot products. Its location equidistant from Melk and Krems makes it also particularly convenient for bicycle trips along the Danube river. Heurigen (taverns with local wine) in the vicinity are worth exploring (we loved, in particular, Gruber's Heuriger with a lovely terrace).

Some basic things were missing (described above), but probably because the apartment is so new.

The apartment is very clean, brand new, maybe so new, that it lacked some equipment. We missed basic things like kitchen towels, soap, bath mat, kettle or microwave, some hooks or shelves to put our clothes in (there is a wardrobe with hangers though). Otherwise basic equipment is there, including coffee machine (without capsules) and toaster. Beds are very comfortable, automatic blinds in the windows helped to keep the apartment cool in the hot days. The apartment is on the 2nd floor of the owner's building. The facilities lack bicycle stands or a shed where to put bikes, it would be appreciated, since the is a cycling area. Close to the house there is a garden, that is not used for guest, which is a little pity. The house is very close to the river and cycling paths as well as to grocery store Spar. The house is close to the main road, expect some minor noise from cars passing by.

Maybe I should add there was no soap in the shower. It wasn’t a problem, but it would have been nice. Rainer was nice enough to take that as feedback as well!

In the middle of Spitz. It was perfect for our bike trip rainbreak. The kitchen was modern, the grocery store and many other restaurants were in walking distance. Everything is brand new and well done. Super friendly host. We even got a wonderful gift that we really liked.

The apartment is really clean (brand new) and comfortable, well-equipped. The host is really kind and helpful. The location of the apartment is really good, just a little walk to restaurants, shop. The ferry is located on the other side of the road, which is a good starting point of you want to ride a bike to Krems or Melk (ride on both sides of the Danube). (Taste the local apricot products! :) )
