Location, owners, comfortable rooms, big balcony, facilities, pool, breakfast

No such thing:)

A beautiful family friendly and family run hotel in a beautiful part of Austria. Peter and Karin gave us so many helpful local tips to enjoy our week stay with our kids. All of the staff were helpful and friendly and breakfast was great, especially on the sunny days when we could sit in the garden! We loved the pool, local wines from the bar and the local activities from Drau Aktiv that we could join. There are many wonderful places to see nearby.

What a great welcome! The owners really makes it feels like Coming home! A beautiful place, great view from the swimmingpool and delicious Breakfast! The owners Also give good tips for restaurants and daytrips.

We had a good time at Waldpension Putz! The hosts are great and gave valuable advice on places and restaurants to go to :) The hotel is really nicely located on the south side of the alps and with beautiful mountains surrounding the hotel :)

The Pension is located very well you can reach many nice places in less than 1 hour. You can relax because the location offer a very quiet surrounding and the rooms are very clean. Either swimming at the pool which is outstanding and clean, playing tennis table or having the great experience of a golf course you would love it. The breakfast is diverse… suite for all tastes. The owners Karen&Peter are very nice persons, give’s you advices for traveling in the near places and offer valuable guest experiences. All in all an exceptional experience at Putz Pension. We recommend it🙏😃🌈

A fantastic place to stay, with so much to do both at the hotel and in the area around. The staff are always there to help, providing advice on any activity you can wish to do, with expert knowledge and able to suggest unique things only a local would know, meaning you get to experience so much more of the area. Breakfast has a varied spread, the bar is there for coffee and drinks all day, and should you need to work there are quiet areas.

It´s a great place to stay. The owners were very nice friendly people and they care about their visitors. They also recommened us what to visit around. I felt like at home. The place was peaceful and you could relax by the pool with the beautiful view of the mountains. I highly recommned this place.

Lovely friendly vibes in this family run hotel. They are always happy to help and give advice on the best hikes, lakes and restaurants to visit.

That we couldn't have stayed longer!

We stayed a few days in this hotel. We wnet there as a family with two small kids. The staff is extremly friendly and helpfull. You feel like part of a community as they interract with you like nowhere else. The accomodation is well located, well maintained and the garden is beautifull. I was doing paragliding for a few days . There is a landing spot ~300 meters from the house on the other side of the river. The hotel has a pool, which we used a lot with the kids. The breakfast is excellent, not a huge selection, but the one they have tastes really good. Especially the scrumbled eggs :) The rooms are clean and confy, but old style and not very spacious.

The owners are probably the nicest people I've met in Austria. They immediately helped me out with ideas for things to do around the area and made me feel like I was at home. The breakfast was excellent with such amazing fresh baked breads and good coffee. You can sit outside in the front yard where it's very quiet and relaxing in the morning. This place has a long history from even before WW1 and you can feel how the generations put their life essence into it. It was 15 minute drive to the lake which was very helpful on my tight schedule. The whole area is very lovely too! I'm definitely coming back on my next vacation in the area.

The only comment I have is about the dated bathroom. But I took the cheap single room and I saw the bigger rooms did look nicer!

A lovely family run hotel. Very friendly and welcoming with a most relaxed and quiet situation very close to the Drau cycleway and in a beautiful setting. A super, family shared evening meal on the verandah, a good night's sleep and a great breakfast. Highly recommended.

The owners are fabulous, and thanks to them I discovered the concept of hupfa - where all food and drinks locally sourced and processed!

Nothing not to like!

Our hosts Karin and Peter were fabulous. The hotel is delightful. We would highly recommend this property.
