How guest reviews work
Each review score is between 1-10. To get the overall score that you see, we add up all the review scores we’ve received and divide that total by the number of review scores we’ve received. We use a weighted review system which means that the more recent the review, the bigger the impact on the total review score calculation. In addition, guests can give separate ‘subscores’ in crucial areas, such as location, cleanliness, staff, comfort, facilities, value for money and free Wi-Fi. Note that guests submit their subscores and their overall scores independently, so there’s no direct link between them.
You can review an Accommodation that you booked through our Platform if you stayed there or if you arrived at the property but didn’t actually stay there. To edit a review you’ve already submitted, please contact our Customer Service team.
We have people and automated systems that specialise in detecting fake reviews submitted to our Platform. If we find any, we delete them and, if necessary, take action against whoever is responsible.
Anyone else who spots something suspicious can always report it to our Customer Service team, so our Fraud team can investigate.
Ideally, we would publish every review we receive, whether positive or negative. However, we won’t display any review that includes or refers to (among other things):
- Politically sensitive comments
- Promotional content
- Illegal activities
- Personal or sensitive information (e.g. emails, phone numbers or credit card info)
- Swear words, sexual references, hate speech, discriminatory remarks, threats, or references to violence
- Spam and fake content
- Animal cruelty
- Impersonation (e.g. if the writer is claiming to be someone else)
- Any violation of our review guidelines.
To make sure reviews are relevant, we may only accept reviews that are submitted within 3 months of checking out, and we may stop showing reviews once they’re 36 months old – or if the Accommodation has a change of ownership.
An Accommodation may choose to reply to a review.
When you see multiple reviews, the most recent ones will be at the top, subject to a few other factors (what language a review is in, whether it’s just a rating or contains comments as well, etc.). If you like, you can sort and/or filter them (by time of year, review score, etc.).
We sometimes show external review scores from other well-known travel websites. We make it clear when we’ve done this.
Guidelines and standards for Reviews

Perfect place for an overnight stay traveling south. Clean rooms, adequate breakfast, the highway is right next door, and there's also a McDonald's and a car wash nearby where you can fresh up your car after the trip. I highly recommend Fair Price Hotel

This hotel is a great option if you're looking for a place to rest for the night during a long journey. The rooms were very clean, the breakfast was fine – nothing fancy, but good enough to start the day. The staff was helpful and friendly. The location is also excellent, right off the main route heading south through Europe. Perfect for a quick overnight stay before hitting the road again in the morning.

Noise from parking cars can be heard in rooms all over during the night. Breakfast at gas station is quite an experience, but I guess for truck drivers, less for families.
Convenient location to highway, gas station and McDonald's for kids.

Nothing in particular. Just found it weird in the beginning that the check in is handled in the gas station, 20 meters from the rooms, but that is also fine.
Very comfortable bed and room, clean toilet. Positively surprised with the breakfast. Earlier check in was possible.

The hotel is conveniently located close to the highway, right next to a BP petrol station. However, we discovered that check-in and checkout are handled at the BP gas station only after using Google Translate on a notice posted at the main entrance. It would be much more helpful if this information were also provided in English, not just German. Check-in involved filling out a form, which was straightforward. The room itself was clean and a good size. There’s a McDonald’s about 200 meters from the hotel, which is convenient for a quick meal. The included breakfast buffet was just okay—nothing special, but it will keep you going. Overall, a decent place for an overnight stay, but clearer communication would enhance the experience.

This is a low cost, no frills hotel, but we were surprised by how comfortable, quiet, and clean it was. Ricardo checked us in and he was so nice, and the breakfast was good. If you're on a road trip and need a place to stay, this is a great hotel with easy access to the autobahn.

Great choice at the breakfast buffet, good coffee and good-tasting juice! It is a great overnight stop when you are on the way. Right next to the highway, convenient and surprisingly comfortable.

Unfortunately the wifi in the room didn't work at all (tried with multiple devices), so it was a very big downside as I was not able to do my work.
Overall the facility was fine, with a big parking and located really close to the highway. Breakfast was quite good.

we've booked a room with kitchen option but oven was not working and there were no any kitchen utensils we could use.
Rooms are clean and comfortable, nice breakfast. Good option to stay overnight while you transit by highway. Note: check-in at the cashier desk at the gas station.

Lack of shower liquid.
It is a very clean, basic hotel to stay for night during the trip. It is close to the motorway. Big parking, very good wifi. Basic but ok the breakfasts.
