The room was not cleaned,garbage bin was full, the pillows and the beds looked like someone slept in. Had the ick all night

We didn’t get a chance to have breakfast.

Toilet and bathroom area was not clean .. there was no light in the bathroom. Didn’t take bath after seeing the bathroom condition.

Greate location for Alpe Adria bike tour, very professional staff.

Good place and breakfast.

The place is good, but going to shared bedrooms you never know who you will meet with. I had a very smelly and noisy experience. I guess the hostel cannot force the guests to take showers. But they really should. If you go in a group of people you know, it should work smoothly.

Friendly staff and good breakfast

Breakfast was good and the enviroment was very green and peaceful.

Cleaning would has been better.

Ideal for cycle tourists. Facilities were good. Early check in allowed. Room was very basic but adequate. Cycle overnight storage was available. Near to good restaurants within 20 min walk. Expensive as this is a hostel not a hotel but it is Salzberg. Staff really friendly especially Nicoletta. Good breakfast in nice surroundings.

I checked in late (11-12pm) no sheets for bed, no contact number to call that I could find. Was too fatigued to bother so had to sleep in the bed. Still paid full price. Should be a courteous message to the occupants if known a booking is getting in late.

Very helpful reception staff. Provided free tourist bus ticket.

Shower tray not draining Pretty hot overnight

Room was very big and there was an additional sink in the bedroom.

This was the most unhygienic shower i have ever had the displeasure of using. There was mold, the shower doors were falling apart and almost no water came out of the shower head because there was a giant hole in the hose where all the water leaked.

I have arrived at midnight there were no problem with access to the building. Location in a quiet area is a big plus, the breakfast was good.

The bathroom was clogged, but they have fixed the problem.

It's a nice place, clean, comfortable

The rooms were clean, spacious with lockers that your room key locked, the sheets were fresh, mattresses comfortable, ensuite fine and separate toilet great in a room of five. The breakfast is fantastic with a variety of foods including fruit, cereals, yogurt, eggs, meats, cheeses, jams, honey, breads, juices, tea and good coffee. It's located about a 50 minute walk, along the lovely river, from the center of Salzburg (20 minutes on a bus) which suits me as I like to be out of the city. There are lots of trees and privacy here. A great outdoor eating area which is peaceful and pleasant.

I requested a bottom bunk or bed prior to my visit as I have a disability but the reception couldn't accommodate and told me that the guests choose their own beds. In other words, first arrival, first choice. I was lucky to get a low bed but I was placed on the second floor which made life difficult. Further, the receptionist told me that there wasn't a guest fridge but another staff member told me there was and where it was. I found the guest fridge and used it but am wondering why the mis information.
