No soap in shower. Bed mattress was too soft (worn out). I think there is better value for money elsewhere.

Room I was in could do with some TLC, carpet was scruffy and walls were peeling, one of the twin beds sagged significantly.

Hotel was in a stunning location and had a gorgeous beer garden, patio area.

Good value for Money ! It is Perfect for us for one night stop over. There is also nearby a Charging Box for electrical car in front of the City hall.

This hotel has had better times. It is a nice building with potential, but unfortunately needs some renovation already. The shower and shower head in my room had mold. The room had just one plug which was in the bathroom, so I had to decide whether to have my phone charged or to hear the alarm in the morning.

The personnel were friendly and helpful. Breakfast was good.

The downside, as far as we were concerned, was the breakfast situation. When we arrived at breakfast, the room had been ransacked by a coach party. The tables hadn't been cleared, and the food wasn't covered, leaving cold meats and cheese at the mercy of flies. There were coffee and tea spillages at the coffee station, and no member of staff seemed bothered about clearing it up. There seemed to be a lack of breakfast staff available, and no restaurant manager appeared present to keep the service running smoothly.

The reception was very helpful and the food in the evening was superb.

The badroom and wc could get a make over to dark, the carpet could be renewed and the curtains. It was cold in the room because it was raining a lot. And the heating was not working. Fresh it up a lil and you have a beautiful place . Ow the spa/wellness could be better too, the steam was not working.

In the bathroom the tap was leaking and the shower door didn’t close properly and so the water came out. There was no heater in the room and made for a cold night as it rained over night. The breakfast was very average. The lactose free milk was past its best before date and they didn’t have many non dairy options. The hotel is a bit old and the carpets are worn; the hotel is definitely in need of a renovation and an uplift.

The bar and the price and the staff were friendly.

Having to wait 45 minutes to check in because no reception staff were available until 17:00. This is despite the advertisement on booking.com saying check-in is available from 15.00.

When I arrived at 3pm the reception was closed until 5pm. However the hotel left the room keys inside an envelope on my name and I was able to get into the room before check in. I was later told the hotel will operate normally from May. I

A little pricey for the location, hotel overall is a little dated and old style but very clean still! Parking at night is stressful with a very small parking lot and unclear directions of where additional parking could be accessed

Bread and coffee for breakfast.

Breakfast ok, but coffee sometimes cold and limited wholemeal bread. Dinner was excellent for main course and dessert, but starter limited and soup sometimes not very hot. Service very variable depending on person.
