The photos do not accurately reflect the apartment, and the price does not seem to justify the place. However, the most concerning issue is that the bathroom is located outside the apartment, which is especially inconvenient with young children who were afraid to go there alone. That said, the place was clean and well-kept, and despite the building being old, it was maintained and tidy. We have stayed in many places in Austria, both more expensive and less expensive, but this one was very disappointing.

Everything would have been OK if it hadn’t been SO extremely cold in the apartment

The toilet is located outside the apartment! To get there, you need to leave the apartment, go back into the corridor, and walk a few steps. The toilet is right by the entrance to the building. The apartment, like the entire building, was VERY cold. I think it was no more than 16℃ — it’s usually pretty chilly at our home too, but here it was just freezing. We had to turn on the heater in the bathroom to warm it up, but we ended up having to sleep in our clothes. By the way, there was only one extra blanket for the four of us. Naturally, we immediately messaged the hosts, but got no response whatsoever, not even in the morning. How pleasant it was to go to the toilet in the freezing corridor at night, and then step out of the apartment again — I think no explanation is needed. Such an attitude towards guests ruins all those fancy furniture sets and all the dishes. Why not buy heaters and give guests the option to use them in situations like this, when the heating (if it's city heating and not controlled by the apartment owners) hasn’t been turned on yet, and at night the temperature drops to 5℃, as it did on the night of our stay? Most likely, the owners don’t have an answer to this question either, otherwise they surely would have responded to us.

A large apartment, three big separate bedrooms with a small amount of stylish new furniture. A big kitchen, plenty of dishes, but for some reason, no salt, coffee or tea. A spacious bathroom with two sinks, a comfortable shower with good water pressure. That’s where the positives end.
