The internet is a mistery. It worked fine for streaming, however for browsing it showed resistance, but all-in-all enough. The initial tidiness of the appartament was lower than average, indeed a lot of spider webs.

The accomodation is in a calm part of the city, but close to the city centre, various grocery stores around. A quite richly equipeted kitchen, including dishwasher, oven, induction, regrigirator and enough knives, forks, spoons. Nice owners, helpful at the arrival and departure. Appartament is spacious enough for two people. Comfortable couch and bed (though be aware of the fact, that it is two matraces on one bed). A big and easily movable table

No tap water for firth 3days of our trip was pretty annoying. Though it was fixed eventually but lack of basic facility like water in big city like Graz was surprising! Cleaning can more through. There were spiders and webs throughout the apartment.

Good location and value for money. Appreciate that they accept pets!!

Big but far from the city

Located in an industrial area, very far from everything else (15 min from the nearest tram station and supermarket to the appartment). No curtains whatsoever, so I kept waking up every time at dawn (around 05:30) several times every day. No microwave, had to heat everything in a pot. For some reason, many wasps kept appearing on the appartment (don't know how they enter, I had everything closed) and died in a couple of days. When I arrived there was no water because the heater broke and it couldn't be repaired in three days because it was Sunday and afterwards national holiday. Up to this point is fine because accidents can happen and this was nobody's fault. However, they didn't notice me of this problem until I called from the bus station already on my way to the appartment. They gave me buckets of water to flush and to drink but the "drinking bucket" was dirty and had a dead spider on it, so I had to go to water fountains (which was a 16 min walk) to get clean water. They didn't want to compensate me for this inconvenient in any way. Only after insisting several times I managed to get my laundry done twice for free (which costed 3€/each). When I complained after the water was fixed they said that they gave discount coupons for public baths to other guests but they didn't give them to me because I was away. However, this looks like just an excuse because we talked several times on the phone during that period and they never brought this up. Also, the host came several times to the appartment while I was away to leave stuff so she could just leave them on the table.

The price was good considering the size of the appartment. It is located in a very quiet area. It was spacious and had a very nice terrace. Had plenty of kitchen ware and a dishwasher as well.

The area, albeit quiet, is industrial and not really exciting. The apartment itself looks empty and unhomely, stains and dust being commonplace (photos attached). Walls are thin and you hear your neighbours really well. The bed, however, was our final terrible revelation. Itself questionably constructed, it had dusty covers and yellow spots on the bed sheets. When I lifted the covers, I saw a bug crawl in between the mattresses. When my partner lifted the mattress and looked under the bed, he saw a lot of spiders in between the wooden planks, including one spider crawling on the mattress itself, as well as a big cockroach-looking bug. I could not sleep there due to my phobia, and even my partner said the condition was out of his league. We had to find another hotel to spend our nights at. The accommodation certainly requires a trigger warning for arachnophobes: there are probably a dozen big spiders per apartment. Upon check-out, the response to my comment about the spiders (including the one on the matress) was: "It's a country house, what can you do", which told me everything I needed to know about the attitude of the owner. My partner and I have stayed at quite a few holiday houses, some located in much deeper countryside than the accommodation in question, in all seasons of the year. This is the first time we see a living space in such a state of neglect. Never did we have to deal with dozens of spiders and bugs on and under the bed, as well as such blatant dust and stains on the surfaces. A well-kept apartment should not look like that, especially if people are paying good money to stay there. I suspect the clean-up before and after the arrival of guests is at best minimal, if not arbitrary. "A country house" is not an excuse to barely look after the accommodation and ignore the basics of cleanliness and comfort.

There were only a few minor issues noticed during our stay at the apartment, that would only require easy fixes. None of these are a deal-breaker.

The apartment is nice, cosy, and includes a very well equipped kitchen and a terrace. It is located in the outskirts of the city, in a distance of an approximately in 15-20 minutes bike ride from the city center, that is super easy given the dedicated bike lanes and roads leading to the center. In general, the whole facility is very child friendly. The lady who runs the place is kind and responsive. Totally worth the price and very much recommended if someone needs a quiet place in a nice, green neighbourhood.
