Great hotel. The location is good for exploring the area by train. Superb breakfast kind hosts warm wekcome. The Wörther See card plus is very handy.

Fabulous little gem in the heart of the Alps. The family who runs the hotel are absolutely lovely and go above and beyond to make the guests feel at home. We arrived by train with quite a bit of luggage and even though it’s just an 8 min walk the hotel picked us up and dropped us off free of charge. The hotel has 8 bikes you can also use free of charge and which are in great shape. Perfect for little tours of the gorgeous region. Very nice room overlooking the town and lake, lovely breakfast, great value for money. Would definitely stay there again.

With the open balcony door at night to let in some air, it is a bit noisy due to the motorway which runs behind the house. Personally I found the soft pillow very uncomfortable.

We were in town for a wedding and the hotel was in easy distance to the lake. A big bonus was the free parking at the hotel and even with the hotel fully booked, there was always sufficient space to park the car. The breakfast buffet had everything we expected from an Austrian breakfast and the coffee was excellent. It is a family run hotel and everyone was super nice. We appreciated help with luggage as our room was on the second floor, which we were aware of when we made the booking.

No issues. The hotel is approximately one Kilometer from the lake, and walking is a great opportunity there.

The staff at the hotel was very helpful! We felt we were visiting with a family, and were received as such.

Very friendly staff, excellent breakfast and comfortable rooms. The for-free provided bikes also came in very handy to go to downtown to restaurants and to the lake front with swimming area for which access cards were included in the price. Also close to forest up the hill which is nice for hikes.

Coffee was not available throughout the day at the kitchen area. Not a huge deal but a nice perk to have.

Wonderful stay at Hotel Diana! Accomodation was perfect for our two night stay and the hosts were very accomodating. The included breakfast is delicious and has so many options!

There was no holder for the soap/shower gel in the shower and as there is no A/C availabe, the room was sometimes a little bit warm for me in the evenings.

Good location within walking distance to Pörtschach railway station. The hotel is very clean, breakfast was tasty with a lot of options. The single room ("Swiss cottage") was in a separate part of the building with entrance directly from the yard.

The only minus that I can find is that it is quite noisy as the highway is behind. During the summer with opened windows you can hear vehicles all night. From the other hand location is very convenient. So, depends how sensitive the person is :)

There wasn't one thing i didn't like.

Amazing view, beautiful room, such sweet staff, perfect breakfast. Close to Pörtschach town, with many stores and restaurants! Close to Klargenfurt and Velden am Wörthersee, and Wörthersee itself. There are many places to visit.

The breakfast was not so varied, i missed the sausage for example… but everything was delicious, i was full in every morning :)

Beautiful house with a beautiful garden and terrace. Clean and comfortable room. The staff was very very kind! We got so many information about the town, and got a discount card to the trip.

Cucumber slices was too dry in the breakfast. Bathroom was slightly small. It may relate with easter holiday, but cleaning was only performed once during 4 days. Not that many enjoyable things at the end of March with Carinthia travelling card. I am pretty sure there are more in the summer season.

Breakfast was okay, lots of food variety. Room was larger than I expected, and overall clean. They provide to me the Carinthia travelling card that was useful when I want to take the S-Bahn. Their recommended restaurants were great.

We would have preferred a larger room with a balcony. I didn’t spot this when booking and an hour out we were advised that this would be available for a small premium. When we arrived however we were advised that this was not available, which was disappointing.
