How guest reviews work
Each review score is between 1-10. To get the overall score that you see, we add up all the review scores we’ve received and divide that total by the number of review scores we’ve received. We use a weighted review system which means that the more recent the review, the bigger the impact on the total review score calculation. In addition, guests can give separate ‘subscores’ in crucial areas, such as location, cleanliness, staff, comfort, facilities, value for money and free Wi-Fi. Note that guests submit their subscores and their overall scores independently, so there’s no direct link between them.
You can review an Accommodation that you booked through our Platform if you stayed there or if you arrived at the property but didn’t actually stay there. To edit a review you’ve already submitted, please contact our Customer Service team.
We have people and automated systems that specialise in detecting fake reviews submitted to our Platform. If we find any, we delete them and, if necessary, take action against whoever is responsible.
Anyone else who spots something suspicious can always report it to our Customer Service team, so our Fraud team can investigate.
Ideally, we would publish every review we receive, whether positive or negative. However, we won’t display any review that includes or refers to (among other things):
- Politically sensitive comments
- Promotional content
- Illegal activities
- Personal or sensitive information (e.g. emails, phone numbers or credit card info)
- Swear words, sexual references, hate speech, discriminatory remarks, threats, or references to violence
- Spam and fake content
- Animal cruelty
- Impersonation (e.g. if the writer is claiming to be someone else)
- Any violation of our review guidelines.
To make sure reviews are relevant, we may only accept reviews that are submitted within 3 months of checking out, and we may stop showing reviews once they’re 36 months old – or if the Accommodation has a change of ownership.
An Accommodation may choose to reply to a review.
When you see multiple reviews, the most recent ones will be at the top, subject to a few other factors (what language a review is in, whether it’s just a rating or contains comments as well, etc.). If you like, you can sort and/or filter them (by time of year, review score, etc.).
We sometimes show external review scores from other well-known travel websites. We make it clear when we’ve done this.
Guidelines and standards for Reviews

Rooms are a bit outdated but very clean.
The breakfast was decent; extra points for the availability of plant-based milk options. The place was clean, staff friendly, nice parking lot.

Like home. Very pleasant and friendly staff. You can communicate in at least three languages. Very good cuisine. Excellent location. The ginger cat loves being scratched under the chin. I will definitely be coming back here.

There is also sauna but its not textile-free so we were quite surprised with that, since this is not a common thing in this part of the world. Mattresses are quite worn out and need replacement. Most of the guests are Hungarians, so a lot of employees are from there. We've had issues with German and English during the dinner while ordering.
Great location, decent breakfast and dinner. Spacious rooms.

1. cleaning in the rooms is poor, when we arrived at the new room, there was a stench that could not be vented, probably from the kitchen unit, I recommend always disinfecting. dirt under the beds 2.people always went to the Finnish sauna and the cooling pool in bathing suits, which is absolutely unhygienic and disgusting. all you have to do is place the pictogram next to the pool with the crossed-out swimsuit 3.dishes at dinner are marked only in Hungarian

There could be a better salad selection for dinner. It was difficult for vegetarian to pick good but healthy stuff.

Drinks for dinner were a bit pricey and the "Club Lemonade" was definitely not worth the hefty price Dinner Menu only offered 3 choices with one being vegetarian and one fish which really limited the choice for meaty dishes Breakfast was missing Bacon (a classic and to me a must have), but had Berner Würstel a few times which made up for it on those days Wellness area was pretty small and did not look very inviting The hotel caters to Hungarians which is fine, but some employees had issues even with German and English and some things (like the dinner menu) were only translated into Hungarian, so non-German non-Hungarian speaking guests might have issues there
Studio room was very well equipped - stove, microwave, fridge, cutlery, dishes Spacious bathroom that even included a bidet Balcony with great view (we could always spy some cows up the mountain from our balcony) Lots of wood - inside and outside. Great Location - Train connection (only every 2 hours though), good restaurants and a grocery store (SPAR) within 10-15 minutes of walking, green mountains and lots of peaks to explore, a river in the middle of town, GREAT air, lots of animals in the area (cats, dogs, birds, cows, sheep, goats, rabbits, alpacas, ...) Buffet for breakfast and dinner sidedishes Big choice for coffee (and hot chocolate) at breakfast Definitely worth the price in summer

the morning receptionist was quite frustrated with something, and it was on her face and in her behavior. it was a double bed, but with 2 separated matrasses, and with no view in the room

The reception is regularly overrun by guests, we often had to wait 30 minutes to talk to someone.
Excellent location, close to the ski-lift. Very kind staff, surprisingly good food in their restaurant. Small but clean wellness area.
