Hotel was soo welcoming, with note on the door, and little gifts for the kids. Room by the reception is filled with fun stuff for kids so they can be entertained for hours, on top of that there is an extra playroom in the basement and kid bikes/formulas outside to play. Loved how welcomed we felt. We planned to visit the pools, but the weather wasnt nice, so we went to the deer farm near by, had a nice time.

AustriaIt would have been difficult to manage the full vacation without a car as the hotel is 15 minute walk to the ski lift. Walking to town is 7 minutes so pretty easy though. There is not so many restaurant in town for dinner (they are booked out in advance in the high season) so we ended up several times ordering for delivery in the hotel (which tool anywhere between 30 minutes and 2 hours to arrive). This works superbly only the restaurant area can be used until 9pm only. The staff did always help with workarounds (e.g. using the living area to eat) when food delivery was late. As we were a large group, other guests may have felt left out. It would have been even more perfect if the restaurant area would stay opened with the non-alcoholic drinks available until later (e.g. 10pm).
The entire staff made us feel at home, was very friendly at all time and most useful with tips to book restaurant - and even a hut in the mountain for New Year's Eve. We would never have managed without them. We were a group of 15 spread over 3 flats for over one week. The allocated tables in the restaurant is a massive plus as there is no need to struggle for enough places. The little attentions (group photo, daily papers, smiles, tips) were much appreciated. Access to the great pool nearby and local trains was really a nice add-on. The hotel is not recently refurbished but the cleaning quality keeps it at a very high standard. We all were impressed. The hotel feels like you are just in a big family house. We were not afraid to let children wander around in the common areas and the playing room. A fantastic family vacation. We will keep fond memories of our time there. I absolutely recommend.
