However, the staff at the local restaurant was the very opposite - impolite, unfriendly and their service was not very good.

The extra bed for my kids was the couch and a bit hard to sleep (my child said and ended up with me in my bed) . The room was a bit small as well. But all in all ok. The carpet is also not one of my favorite.

Price-wise, equivalent to an actual hotel. A cavernous restaurant / bar, where the food was off a conveyor belt. And there was loud live music, which is a plus or a minus depending on your tastes.

Very spacious room, clean, good fittings. Quiet, with ample parking. The hike paths, castle, and the high-line can fill an afternoon stop (but probably only interesting once). Depending on your schedule, the location may be perfect for an overnight stop.

Live music in the restaurant quitte loud (only in the restaurant, not outside or so). The kitchen closes on time, so don't be late 😀.

- One half of the double bed in the main room was very squeaky. - Our group of 4 adults booked a room for 6 people because it had two separate bedrooms and enough normal beds (not sofa bed) and a kitchen. After check-in we were given much smaller room for 4 without kitchen and with a double bed and a sofa bed, which we wanted to avoid. While it seemed to us like a common mistake at first, it took us very long time to convince the reception staff to even give us the room we booked and then to not have to pay extra money for the room we specifically chose and paid in advance for. This was very unpleasant and took a lot of time we could be exploring the attractions.

Location is awesome, you can walk to all attractions in area. The restaurant is at your disposal for breakfast, lunch and dinner.

We didn't like the silverfish. :) but no big deal! The only real complaint was that there was no kettle to make tea and the stove didn't seem to work to boil a pot of water, either. Otherwise lovely Breakfast buffet was outstanding.

Amazing location and nice atmosphere with interesting history. Nice roomy apartment and ample hot water for a nice long bath in the big tub.

It was in August pretty cold, nights maybe down to 10° and the heating in bathroom wasn't working, at least not in the evening, and there was not a kettle.. some tee or instant coffe in the room, not even a bottle off water or at least 2 glasses to drink from the tap

The location is perfect, rooms are pretty clean breakfast was good parking also very practical, the staff very nice and helpful

Was checked in by older lady who had no interest in Hospitality. No parking card received event hough I had a question where I could park, no wifi password. Just wanted to get rid of us ASAP. Many flies at breakfast. Stale smell bathroom from plumbing.

The parking of the hotel is the same as Ehrenberger & Highline179 attractions: arrival during the afternoon could be a "little chaotic" but during the evening/night the place is very-very quite. Breakfast is very reach: using the same area of the restaurant, tables are big so breakfast is very comfortable. Rooms are simple but clean and comfortable.

We got a free upgrade to the apartment which was nice for our family instead of having 1 room (we only stayed because we were passing through on our route to holiday in Italy)

Due to a big wedding on the day of our arrival the restaurant was not accessible to us. It would have been nice to have been made aware of this beforehand. Restaurant choices in town a couple of minutes away by car.

The weather, otherwise this place is perfect for a stay while visiting the Highline.

We visited to walk the Highline 179. The weather was challenging and yet we got to walk the Highline. Our room was awesome, large, and very clean. The location, just feet from the Highline lift was perfect. The restaurant served great food and had a nice choice of Beers. The staff was very friendly and was on top of their service. We could not have enjoyed or appreciated our stay more.
