We absolutely loved the location—it was perfect! The beauty of the surrounding scenery was breathtaking, and the atmosphere was so peaceful and relaxing. The breakfast was delightful, adding a special touch to our stay. Everything about it was simply wonderful.

For me it’s an ideal place! There’s huge parking. The hotel itself is fantastic, with a wonderful room that was impeccably clean. The staff was friendly and welcoming, providing a heartfelt hospitality that made us feel right at home. The breakfast was delicious, accompanied by an amazing view that made each morning special. The location of the hotel is simply magical, offering breathtaking views of the vineyards. It’s a peaceful and serene spot where you can take walks or simply sit and admire the beauty of nature.

Amazing place to stay highly recommended. The location is fantastic and beautiful scenery and views. Staying right beside the castle offers a special experience. The restaurant does a surprise menu and the food is of the highest quality. The staff are very friendly and the place has a nice relaxed vibe. The breakfast is also excellent and plentiful We brought our dog also and they were very accommodating for the room, dinner and breakfast. I wouldn't hesitate to recommend staying here to anyone.

Only one thing was disappointing, the coffee. We love European, especially Austrian coffee, however a machine was used to make your own and it just could't compare with the typical Austrian morning coffee.

Exceptional staff, friendly, accommodating, very pleasant indeed. One does't get to stay at a castle too often, so a unique venue, Fabulous museum in the original castle, a must see.

There was nothing to not like. I would rather call it a wish - more vegetables present during breakfast.

It was an awesome experience all in all. The location is charming. The staff and the owners are friendly and pleasant to have a conversation with. The rooms were beyond clean - even the curtains smelled like coming fresh out of the washing machine. I can honestly recommend this property to anyone looking for a quiet place with a historical flair. You can be in the city center within minutes and a few more and you are in Graz. If you go for a walk behind the castle (away from the side facing the city below) - you will feel like being in a complete wilderness surrounded by nature. Oh and last but not least - the restaurant is there to offer services even for the more demanding customers. The 5 course menu was another great experience.

Amazing view from the window over the valley. In walking distance from a nice and cosy buschenschank. Free-of-charge sauna. A hiking trail starts just outside the walls of the castle.

Our bedroom window was facing the restaurant, and both nights patrons were staying late attending an event/ function, and it was very noisy until late into the night. It was a hot weekend and there was no aircon so we had to leave the window open, but that let the noise in and messed up our sleep a bit, and on the Saturday morning we were woken up early as people were setting up for an event that day on the lawn outside our bedroom. Updated TVs would have been great to access streaming services.

Great experience staying at this beautiful castle, plenty of parking, and convenient short-term parking right outside the entrance to load/ unload. Our room was much bigger than expected and had two bathrooms, with a shower in one and a spa bath in the other, which we would have used had it not been such a hot summer weekend. Very comfy bed, and complimentary coffee. Breakfast was great, as was the service, and we also had dinner at the restaurant one night, which was exceptional.

The main hotel building is not lit during the night (the restaurant is on the other side) and you get a weird feeling entering a dark building with lights popping on and off due to movement sensors. The corridors have old carpets and furniture that look more old than antique, there is a lot that can be done to improve the design. The beds are not really comfortable, the bathrooms are renovated but the tiles in the shower are like an ice-skating field, watch out! No lift in the building, so if you want a room with a view be prepared

Great location, the castle is really beautiful and the museum is definitely worth visiting! Dinner at the restaurant was great, breakfast was ok, the staff was super-friendly! Amazing view from the room, don’t miss the sunrise!
