How guest reviews work
Each review score is between 1-10. To get the overall score that you see, we add up all the review scores we’ve received and divide that total by the number of review scores we’ve received. We use a weighted review system which means that the more recent the review, the bigger the impact on the total review score calculation. In addition, guests can give separate ‘subscores’ in crucial areas, such as location, cleanliness, staff, comfort, facilities, value for money and free Wi-Fi. Note that guests submit their subscores and their overall scores independently, so there’s no direct link between them.
You can review an Accommodation that you booked through our Platform if you stayed there or if you arrived at the property but didn’t actually stay there. To edit a review you’ve already submitted, please contact our Customer Service team.
We have people and automated systems that specialise in detecting fake reviews submitted to our Platform. If we find any, we delete them and, if necessary, take action against whoever is responsible.
Anyone else who spots something suspicious can always report it to our Customer Service team, so our Fraud team can investigate.
Ideally, we would publish every review we receive, whether positive or negative. However, we won’t display any review that includes or refers to (among other things):
- Politically sensitive comments
- Promotional content
- Illegal activities
- Personal or sensitive information (e.g. emails, phone numbers or credit card info)
- Swear words, sexual references, hate speech, discriminatory remarks, threats, or references to violence
- Spam and fake content
- Animal cruelty
- Impersonation (e.g. if the writer is claiming to be someone else)
- Any violation of our review guidelines.
To make sure reviews are relevant, we may only accept reviews that are submitted within 3 months of checking out, and we may stop showing reviews once they’re 36 months old – or if the Accommodation has a change of ownership.
An Accommodation may choose to reply to a review.
When you see multiple reviews, the most recent ones will be at the top, subject to a few other factors (what language a review is in, whether it’s just a rating or contains comments as well, etc.). If you like, you can sort and/or filter them (by time of year, review score, etc.).
We sometimes show external review scores from other well-known travel websites. We make it clear when we’ve done this.
Guidelines and standards for Reviews
These guidelines and standards aim to keep the content on Booking.com relevant and family-friendly without limiting expression of strong opinions. They are also applicable regardless of the sentiment of the comment.
Contributions should be travel related. The most helpful contributions are detailed and help others make better decisions. Please don’t include personal, political, ethical, or religious commentary. Promotional content will be removed and issues concerning Booking.com’s services should be routed to our Customer Service or Accommodation Service teams.
Contributions should be appropriate for a global audience. Please avoid using profanity or attempts to approximate profanity with creative spelling, in any language. Comments and media that include 'hate speech', discriminatory remarks, threats, sexually explicit remarks, violence, and the promotion of illegal activity are not permitted.
All content should be genuine and unique to the guest. Reviews are most valuable when they are original and unbiased. Your contribution should be yours. Booking.com property partners should not post on behalf of guests or offer incentives in exchange for reviews. Attempts to bring down the rating of a competitor by submitting a negative review will not be tolerated.
Respect the privacy of others. Booking.com will make an effort to obscure email addresses, telephone numbers, website addresses, social media accounts, and similar details.
The opinions expressed in contributions are those of Booking.com customers and properties and not of Booking.com. Booking.com does not accept responsibility or liability for any reviews or responses. Booking.com is a distributor (without any obligation to verify) and not a publisher of these comments and responses.
By default, reviews are sorted based on the date of the review and on additional criteria to display the most relevant reviews, including but not limited to: your language, reviews with text, and non-anonymous reviews. Additional sorting options may be available (by type of traveller, by score, etc.).

Verified reviewLocation was wonderful. Staffs were welcoming. We have got passes for the nearby activities which we have used for accessing cable car on stubatial glacier. Parking was free. Breakfast was good.
The lightening in the room. It was flickering. I have noticed this everywhere and it may need maintenance. The room was spacious, comfortable, but not so fancy/luxurious as per the price they have charged. They had gym, table tennis, swimming pool everything, but everything was like hidden in a cave with no better lights. All those can be made more beautiful by making it more accessible with a view.

Verified reviewWe (2 adults, one teenager and one 9 year old + one dog) enjoyed very much our stay at hotel Brennerspitz. The room was big and comfortable, the food was good, the location amazing. But what really made it super special were the amazing people from the staff: from the reception to the restaurant - everyone was super helpful , offered us a lot of useful information on the best things to do in the area and went out of their way to make our stay as lovely as possible. The pool was the cherry on top. There are some great hiking trails in the area , for beginners and advanced hikers alike. We will definitely be back again and recommend this hotel to all our friends!

Verified reviewExcellent hotel with spacious rooms, friendly staff, and a pleasant swimming pool. A great base for winter sports or hiking holidays
The bathroom is a bit dated, but otherwise neat and clean

Verified reviewThere was a clothes dryer in the room/on the balcony, without it it would be impossible to keep clothes dry, but in winter it is definitely not enough.
The mattresses in the bed are already showing signs of wear...a replacement wouldn't hurt...

Verified reviewThe hotel's rooms were spacious and comfortable. I opted for the half-pension plan, and both breakfast and dinner offered plentiful choices. The spa provided the perfect way to relax after a day of skiing. Additionally, the hotel was conveniently located near the bus station, which offered a quick 20-minute ride to the Stubaier Gletscher.

Verified reviewFood, pool, and mattress are great. We had half board. There is also a Sparr across the street and a mini fridge in the room, so I i liked being able to prep a sandwich for lunch to avoid overly expensive food up at the ski station. Ski rental shop and bus stop to the ski station are also just across the street so we didn't have to haul heavy equipment too far each day.
The soap dispenser in the bathroom didn't work properly, but the room comes with soap bars too so I used those. There was a hole in my blanket cover but I presume that was just a one-time occurrence. We've stayed at this hotel a couple times already.

Verified reviewThe Hotel is comfortable and well run, with great facilities and with a good wide breakfast selection. The Pool is a really great place to unwind after a days skiing. Being situated mid way between the mountain and glacier skiing meant that we could easily choose in the morning which way to go depending on the weather.
The only slight negative for us was that with one vegetarian in our party the evening meals on offer were not great. Milders as a location really only has hotels and houses, which means there is very little choice for dinner in the evening, the two restaurants that are available fill up quickly so you need to book.

Verified reviewJust before the end of our stay there, our flight back was cancelled, so we needed to extend our stay. There was no problem at all from hotel staff. They came up with few options as the situation was developing. Finally, we chose to stay one more day. We were very positively surprised as the bill was half of the price we expected. This is a type of butique hotel far from "stop, eat and sleep only". A lot of wooden elements and accents referencing to local culture make it typical Tirol style. It offers a swimming poll (my kid loved it) and a sauna (i loved it). There is very nice atmosfere that makes you feel welcome (ie: when we were back from skiing, there were always a few different types of local pastry in a kind of bar/lobby area that you can have it for free. These small accents and touches made our stay very comfortable and pleasant. They offer nice breakfast full buffet. A dinner offers so much (starting with salad bar, then starter, soup, main course, and finally desert) that nobody is left hungry Very important things if you go there for skiing: * intersport, where you can rent ski stuff, is 30m across the street * skibus stop is 50-60 m from the hotel * SPAR shop 100m away Generally, very good value for money, very nice staff and if you come with kids you still can addtionally drain them from rest of their enery efortlesly making use of indor swimming pool (probably most of the parents know what i am talking about). I can fully recommend it

Verified reviewService was really friendly though struggling with german language. Pool is nice. Food was good and honest. Close to glacier bus stop but still a quiet place.
Why did it go from good to fair? I was in the old part of the hotel and I was not able to get really warm water in the shower (whereas in the washbasin warm water was available). First time I thought I did something wrong and as I came back from the sauna was heated anyhow so did not follow up with the reception. Last day I figured out that there is a problem with the mixing tap which was kind of broken. Things like that can happen, no problem so far. When checking out the gentleman at the desk apologized as well and said he felt sorry that he cannot do anything for me (as I was leaving). So I proposed he could review my restaurant bill and remove some of the drinks I had during the week. He simply ignored that and printed our the bill without further comment. I was not expecting a massive reduction, just a sign of good will. And I am not the kind of person that insists - perhaps a mistake. It might have been a language problem but in places where you cannot avoid customer interaction one should be competent in German. Points out that hospitality is largely challenged to get qualified personnel and needs to live with what they have. Still as a guest I would hope and wish for better.
