Loved everything about this property! The pictures do not do it justice and it is so serene. The little town of Hallstatt can get very crazy, but this area is quiet and beautiful with nothing but mountains, swans, quiet boats and friendly locals. Every night and morning was spent on the balcony just enjoying the beauty. We ended up with help from the owner of arranging a driver back to Salzburg, the train and ferry are so packed at this time. It was a beautiful drive.

The hotel and our room was clean and tidy, our host was friendly and helpful, we loved our stay here. The scenery was beautiful, close to the historical part, but far enough not to be crowded or too loud. Parking situation was also great, which was important for us.

No common lounge area for bar drinks, although there is an area for making coffee and tea. The separate toilet in the room lacks a hand washbasin.

The panoramic view from the balcony of the room was superb. The location is within a leisurely walk to the center of Hallstatt and yet quiet, being far away from where most of the horde of tourists are concentrated.

new, large modern rooms , comfy beds, large cosy balcony overlooking the lake, clean spacious bathroom, self-help kitchen on 1st floor, with coffee-machine for complimentary coffee/tea/milk, friendly helpful staff, neat on-site car park & close proximity to town & funicular, quiet neighborhood

The TV felt a bit small considering the distance from the bed, especially given the size of the room.

We had a spacious room facing the lake, and since the hotel is adults-only, it was a quiet and relaxing stay. The shower gel and shampoo smelled amazing—I’d definitely buy them if they were available for purchase at the hotel. There’s a lift in the building, which was a huge plus after a long day at the salt mine. With tired legs, climbing more stairs would have been tough! You can also drive directly to the hotel, and breakfast is available upon request.

Gorgeous, lakeside hotel with the most stunning view of Hallstatt. It's in a quieter part of town which was appreciated since the main area can get pretty busy. They brought us breakfast in the room so we could enjoy on our patio which was delightful. Great stay!

Exceptional location within walking distance to everything! Peaceful and quiet. The room was beautiful and had the best view of the lake with an outdoor patio. The floors were heated which was quite nice. Breakfast in our room was amazing!

If you want to disconnect and feel like you're in a fairytale, this is the place for you! The hotel is in a very quiet location a 5 minute walk away from the center of Hallstatt, situated on the edge of the lake. The views are some of the best we've ever experienced. Waking up to the misty mountain views, the sound of birds or rainfall was absolutely magical. Hallstatt welcomes thousands of visitors everyday, yet here you feel like you're the only one! The owner of the hotel is super helpful and recommended the best restaurant where we had lunch and dinner on two separate occasions. Take advantage of the breakfast the hotel offers, not only is it delicious but it's also served to you in the comfort of your room. We will have fond memories of this place for the rest of our lives!

I am quite a nitpicker and I failed to find a negative in the trip and stay

Though it was quite expensive stay, the view and location were all worth it. It was a Bentley stay for a corresponding price. Ultra modern, and very nicely appointed suite with a picture perfect Hallstatt view. The manager Cybil was so proud of her region, gave us multiple great points to squeeze the best out of 2 days stay.. You have to treat yourself sometimes - no regrets at all, just a bunch of great memories
