I had a mansarde room. The VELUX windows are not the best soundproofed, so I could hear quite a bit of noise from the outside. In the bathroom, the shower would benefit from an adjustable height poll for the shower head, and it would be nice if the towels didn't have holes. Some tea would be appreciated, not only coffee.

Everything was great, but the wifi was slow and it would not work for anything video. That was a huge bummer for us! If they had good internet this would have easily been a 10/10 hotel. The room was a bit cramped, but the bathroom was huge. I guess that's the disadvantage of really old constructions. It's by no means a deal breaker, but it might be useful to know for somebody who needs larger spaces.

The breakfast buffet was a bit pricy, but worth it if you are pressed for time or want to get your money's worth :) The location is great and we were able to find free street parking over the night. The hotel also offers underground parking if need be. The old city center is within walking distance (even though from the map it didn't feel like it was). So we were able to explore the town even though it was just an overnight stop on a road trip for us.

The staff was extra helpful, we checked in a little early, our room was clean and modern, we loved being so close to train station, yet we could be in town in a few easy steps. It was surprisingly quiet even though close to station. Food options were super close by.

The hotel is right next to a train station, which was very convenient for us. The area may seem noisy, but it's not at all. We had a good night's sleep, no traffic noise. Our room was quiet, clean, and cute, and the bed was comfortable. Super friendly staff. It was an excellent stay, actually.

We booked the 'cheapest' room and although it was comfortable and even had electric blinds for the window it was very small. The bathroom was similarly tiny, but very clean, modern and functional.

The staff is great and the breakfast is very good. For us the location was very convenient in the center next to the train station. Just a very nice hotel.

Friendliness of staff. Location good - very handy for Wels station - a super location for travel by rail to anywhere in Austria. Restaurant also called Adria in separate ownership but obviously a top restaurant for the district- very good
