How guest reviews work
Each review score is between 1-10. To get the overall score that you see, we add up all the review scores we’ve received and divide that total by the number of review scores we’ve received. We use a weighted review system which means that the more recent the review, the bigger the impact on the total review score calculation. In addition, guests can give separate ‘subscores’ in crucial areas, such as location, cleanliness, staff, comfort, facilities, value for money and free Wi-Fi. Note that guests submit their subscores and their overall scores independently, so there’s no direct link between them.
You can review an Accommodation that you booked through our Platform if you stayed there or if you arrived at the property but didn’t actually stay there. To edit a review you’ve already submitted, please contact our Customer Service team.
We have people and automated systems that specialise in detecting fake reviews submitted to our Platform. If we find any, we delete them and, if necessary, take action against whoever is responsible.
Anyone else who spots something suspicious can always report it to our Customer Service team, so our Fraud team can investigate.
Ideally, we would publish every review we receive, whether positive or negative. However, we won’t display any review that includes or refers to (among other things):
- Politically sensitive comments
- Promotional content
- Illegal activities
- Personal or sensitive information (e.g. emails, phone numbers or credit card info)
- Swear words, sexual references, hate speech, discriminatory remarks, threats, or references to violence
- Spam and fake content
- Animal cruelty
- Impersonation (e.g. if the writer is claiming to be someone else)
- Any violation of our review guidelines.
To make sure reviews are relevant, we may only accept reviews that are submitted within 3 months of checking out, and we may stop showing reviews once they’re 36 months old – or if the Accommodation has a change of ownership.
An Accommodation may choose to reply to a review.
When you see multiple reviews, the most recent ones will be at the top, subject to a few other factors (what language a review is in, whether it’s just a rating or contains comments as well, etc.). If you like, you can sort and/or filter them (by time of year, review score, etc.).
We sometimes show external review scores from other well-known travel websites. We make it clear when we’ve done this.

We had an amazing short stay here. The rooms were exceptionally clean, the whole guest house was very nice. You can use the sauna if you feel like it, it's spacious and clean. You get a code before arrival, so and everything opens using this code. So no keys are necessary, which makes everything easy. The house is fully automated. The manager was really nice, she accommodated our wishes without a problem. Beds were comfy, we had a great night sleep after a long day. And let's not forget about the sounding area. It's beautiful. Woods, loads of hiking trails, lakes, viewing points, a short drive to Germany and Czechia. All in all I would stay here again, highly recommended.

I was just passing through but the accomodation is truly impressed me. The apartmans are big, spotlessly clean, the breakfast is delicious and very friendly hosts. I will deffinitely come back.

Very clean and cozy apartment. Apt 1 is quite small, but it is super clean, beds are comfortable and you find all you need. It is 5mins by car to ski area. You can use private sauna when you stay over 3 nights which was super nice. I apriciate small details like nets in windows agains insect or space for drying your clothes. There is a room for ski and ski shoes. Apt is quite small but it is ok. You can smell the nature from outside but it is super authentic. There is a small balcony but it is shared and you can go there via corridor. Instrutions were clean and you go to the apt threw pin code which is super easy. Highly recomended!

If you opened windows and balcony on one side, there was a unpleasant smell of farm animals. TV in every room but not smart tv so can watch channels in German plus BBC news. Couldn't find any music or radio channel, which would work. There was a room for skiiboots but not with the little heaters which you hung your skiiboots on. So my skiiboots didn't dry inside and the owner refused to turn the heating up for me. The same with other heating system. The apartment was comfortable temperature but couldn't dry our ski trousers or gloves if they were very wet. Couldn't regulate the temperature. There was underfloor heating. Recommend to bring spare gloves and skii clothes and perhaps old newspapers for skiiboots to dry.
Nice, clean and big with good kitchen facilities. Amazing sauna, which you get one free session if you stay 3 or more nights. Great location if you going skiing. Only 7min away from skiing resort if you drive. Great coffee machine.

Skibus 1 time per day. There is no lighting on the streets at night. No good restaurant within 4 km. Bring shoe dryers. The heating is turned off at night. Ski clothes were wet. But the weather was terrible. It's worth visiting this place. Good value for money. But pay attention to my suggestions. This is not a good place for night walks. No street lighting.
The hotel was clean. The host was very helpful. The Hochficht ski center is very good. It is worth going to Caroli Badepark in Waldkirchen. 5 km to the ski slope.

The host Nicole is very kind and always at hand. Appartment is clean and well furnished. We also used private sauna and it was great. I really recommend this accomodation.

Clean and spacious apartment with all needed kitchen equipments. Location is very peaceful but still near to restaurants and shops if you go by car. Safe parking for the car.

Great accommodation, it was very clean and comfortable, with everything we needed. It's very close to Hochficht ski resort by car, there are also several parking sports at the property. We also enjoyed the sauna, which Nicole was very nice to set for us. All in all, a great stay!
