Very lovlely place. The location is perfect, very nice view, calm and quite and the owners are superfriendly and serviceminded. The pool is nice but cold. Perfect place if you want to go hiking in the mountains.

We had the absolute pleasure of staying at Berggasthof Schwaigerhof in early July 2025, and it was one of the most memorable experiences we’ve ever had. We arrived very late at night after a long journey, and Cordula had thoughtfully left clear, detailed instructions for us. Thanks to her care, finding our apartment was effortless. Waking up the next morning felt like stepping into a dream. The view from the house is simply spectacular: rolling hills, deep beautiful village, and the majestic Dachstein massif in the distance. Lovely swimming pool with that same jaw-dropping mountain backdrop just next to the house. We spent quiet afternoons there, floating in the water, soaking in the sunshine and the peace. Schwaigerhof is a paradise not just for humans, but for animals too. Horses grazing in nearby fields, friendly cats greeting us in the courtyard, and even a goat that seemed to be the king of the hill - all added to the magic of the place. It’s one of those rare spots where nature, animals, and people all seem to live in perfect harmony. The sunsets were out of this world (video attached) every evening the sky transformed into a canvas of pinks, oranges, and gold, casting a warm glow over everything. We often just stood silently, taking it all in. Cordula and her family create something truly special here. It’s not just about comfort or beauty - though there’s plenty of both - it’s about the feeling of being cared for, of slowing down, of reconnecting with what matters. We left with full hearts, and we’re already planning our return. Highly, highly recommended.

A small hotel in a beautiful location. The view from the hotel terrace is absolutely amazing. Breakfast is decent and satisfying. A great place to stay if you want to visit the Alps.

The accomodation is up hill, with a beautiful view of Dachstein. The host is super friendly and very helpful. Next door there are stables with horses and pony horses there. Breakfasts are sufficient and the meals are tasty. We had a wonderful stay and recommend it greately. Want to come back one day, may be in summer.

Beyond the beautiful view from the location, the nice and spacious rooms, its proximity to the Hauser Kainling ski resort, the cozy atmosphere of the breakfast ans dinner room, and the good meals, I want to recommend Berggasthof Schwaigerhof for how lovely and friendly the hosting family is. Mother and daughter have not only offered their smile, laugh, and warm attention to our needs, but also did not hesitate one second to help us when our car had troubles one morning - and our problem was solved in 15 minutes. They know how to welcome guests and make them feel at home. Definitely 10/10!

The wi-fi was somehow unstable.

Great location with a wonderful mountain view right from the pool. It is a good starting point for hiking in the region. The kids enjoyed the pool and trampoline and the animals on the farm. The trips to the surrounding mountains were great too. The hosts are very, very nice people, able to provide valuable suggestions for trips and the breakfast was very good.

Incredible views. Wonderful family runs this guest house. We felt at home with the warm welcome and conversations throughout our stay. Simple, but great breakfast. We also enjoyed two dinners which were some of the best on our trip. Less than 10 minutes from Bodensee. Amazing three lakes hike and fabulous restaurant.

There were really nice artistic doors in family appartement to both rooms and bathroom but they did not provide privacy (kind of pointless doors), some power outlets were not working

This was one of the better places to stay. The room was perfect nice and cosy, The owner tried to work extra hard to get us extra fresh mushroom.with the meal. Nice clean and a very beautifull view. The owner told it had also a lot of pistes for wintertime skiing, Not too crowdy a swimmigpool outside. Farm animals like horses nice for the kids. You will love and enjoy your stay here!

This place is really amazing, ve enjoyed the time there. The owners are very friendly and helpful. The room was very nice with comfortable bed and wonderful wiev of Dachstein. We enjoyed breakfast and also homemade dinner. I hope we will come back again.

Some of equipment was outdated ( but all equipment looks same like it is on pictures) so I don’t want to meant this as complain just point out

View from roam had been fantastic. Owners were very welcoming make us feel familiar. Kids had a lot of animals around house to pet.

The house is situated in awesome location with beautiful views on mountains. Owners of the house are very kind and willing people, which promotes the experience from the vacation even to higher level. They obviously like all kinds of animals, therefore staying with our dog was no problem at all. We will definitely like to visit the place again!
