The issue I encountered was that the room is designed for snowy conditions, which results in strong insulation. This caused the room to become very warm inside, and unfortunately, the fan was not sufficient to resolve the problem.

What I truly appreciated was the outstanding hospitality, the warm welcome, and the reception provided by Leona — we sincerely thank her from the bottom of our hearts.

Could not fault this property, but there were two minor aspects. It would be worth considering planting a few trees between the fence and the rear of the chalets to provide some privacy from the gondola that passes overhead, this would also assist in providing some further privacy between chalets although they are well screened. My daughter was also disappointed there was only tea and coffee - no hot chocolate sachets. Marshmallows would be an added bonus.

Exceptional chalet in a great location part way up Maiskogel in Kaprun. The chalets are very modern inside and beautifully decorated yet retain the charm of a classic wooden chalet. Superb facilities with outdoor bathtub and sauna, kitchen, spacious bathrooms, outdoor terrace and deck. Incredibly comfortable beds. There is also a great shared pool. Staff were very friendly and welcoming yet discrete. A great place to stay to recharge and explore Kaprun and the surrounding area, only wished we could have stayed longer!

Nothing, everything is perfect

We had a wonderful stay at Zaglgut Hotel as a family with three children, and enjoyed every moment! We stayed in one of the chalets with two bedrooms and a private sauna – the chalet was spacious, beautifully furnished, and thoughtfully designed down to the smallest detail. We truly wouldn’t change a thing. The views are breathtaking, the atmosphere is peaceful and relaxing, and everything feels high-end yet cozy. What truly made the experience exceptional was the outstanding service. The hotel staff were absolutely amazing – warm, professional, and always going the extra mile to make us feel welcome and cared for. The breakfast was rich, delicious, and indulgent – a perfect start to each day, with a wide variety of fresh, high-quality options and wonderful presentation. And of course, the panoramic pool was simply stunning – offering incredible views and a relaxing, luxurious experience for the whole family. It was a perfect family getaway and we’re already looking forward to coming back. Highly recommended!

The bed is not good, quite frankly I would have liked a more comfortable bed here to perfection. Because everything else is perfect.

This hotel is a matter of the heart. It wasn't the first or even the last visit, it's like a fairy tale.

It was a beautiful place with amazing views. However, there were a few issues. The fireplace only worked if the doors were slightly open, which was inconvenient since it was still very cold outside. This made the experience quite uncomfortable. Additionally, when we planned to have dinner at their restaurant, they told us they couldn't accommodate us without a reservation, even though there were plenty of available seats. The real issue seemed to be that they didn't have enough food. A place like this should be able to feed all its guests and also provide room service as an option. p.s there is not any other restaurant near this place!

The indoor heated pool was slightly cold, and there wasn't a children's club that our daughter would have loved to play in. Also as shown in the pictures, the hotel is on top of a hill overlooking Kaprun, but the actual road is unpleasant in rainy weather and takes about 6-7 minutes.

The breakfast was terrific, we stayed for paid dinner also and it was perfect. The staff, the facilities, everything was top notch, truly amazing.
