It was unique and lovely and quiet. Clean and minimalistic. But the location is unbeatable! So close to St. Stephansplatz. My only complaint was the pillows were flat and the beds could have been softer. All in all, a lovely stay.

The room was clean, spacious and comfortable with good amenities. Breakfast was excellent with a cold buffet including breads, meats, cheeses, pastries, cereal, fruit etc. Service was friendly and the location was truly excellent. This place offers such good value for money for the city. I shared with a friend and we had plenty of space each and didn’t feel on top of each other at all.

Shower was a bit tricky. Sprayed out quickly so I had to use the bath mat to sop up the water. An extra shower mat might be nice for those just in case

Location can't be beat. And breakfast was delicious. And the hotel was super generous to also offer breakfast gratis to my friend who was also visiting Vienna—when I enquired to pay for him and his company the morning of my stay. And the entire space is simple but wonderfully appointed and quiet.

There was nothing that we didn’t like!

A beautiful, serene stay inside the old Abbey! Very clean, nice nightly breeze through the open window of an inner courtyard. Excellent location for walking to many restaurants and shops!

We missed a small refrigerator in the room.

The Benediktushaus is superbly located in a quiet part of Vienna's inner city. It is in walking distance from a lot of important sights to see. The rooms are well equipped except for air conditioning and a small refrigerator. Breakfast is delicious and plenty.

The beds weren't the most comfortable so maybe best for a short stay. Perhaps as befits a religious institution the single beds weren't next to each other (this wasn't a major issue for us, though).

The location is excellent and for its location, and for Vienna in general, the price is good. There is no hot option at breakfast but I didn't find this a problem.

It was in an absolutely beautiful square in Venice . It is very close to the Grand Hyatt which tell you the value of the location. As a woman travelling for a work conference alone , I felt very safe . I often went for dinners and didn’t get back until after midnight . There are two I hand nearby for U2 and U3 so it was very convenient for Messe Prater conference centre . The breakfast was fantastic with fresh bread and rolls every morning . It was lovely to sit quietly in the church for a few minutes after a long day . Everything was very clean and staff were so polite and told me all about the history of the monastery . It’s so nice to have a part in keeping it running by staying here .

That we didn't have a double bed, but only 2 single beds and it was not possible to be put together.

The location is very good, the breakfast as well. There are options for veggetarian people as well. The fact that we are sleeping in the house of God, gave me a lot of quite and made me feel safe and gratefull.

No fridge in the room - a big miss. Same for air-conditioning. The breakfast would be better if warm meals were offered.

Bed was small and not very comfortable. Your source of water is tap water unless you bring water bottle.

This is great place if your focus is prime location and reasonable pricing. Everything is in walking distance. This is not typical American type of hotel so setup your expectations accordingly to hostel environment. Breakfast was awesome everyday. Baljit Kaur made our visit memorable with her kind hospitality and service working with Lisa.
