The location is, of course, a bit far from the city center, but that didn’t matter to us at all. What really mattered was the free parking right outside the hotel windows — that was very convenient. Breakfast was available for an extra fee, and there was also a restaurant on-site if you wanted to eat there. The room was small, but very cozy and clean. The bathroom had everything we needed as well. So, no complaints. We really enjoyed our stay.

Traffic noise. No air-conditioning, so the room was quite warm at night. Couldn't have window open too wide because of noise from traffic at the busy crossroads below.

I traveled from Romania by personal car and arrived an hour earlier than 2 pm (checkin). Since it was raining, I requested early check-in, but was denied. It was closed and I was not even offered the opportunity to wait in a space that would protect me from the rain. I was told on the phone that it is possible only after 2 pm. I waited in the car.

The breakfast was very good. On the last day, however, the coffee was half full.

I like everything, room is clean, breakfast is good if you come early. Great that there is a restaurant working until 10 (kitchen works until 9). So if you come in the evening, can have meal and go to bed :) Perfect for our one-stop night! Will return!

Although wifi is advertised on booking.com it wasn’t available and it seems not to have been for quite a while. This is important for travellers as you want to preserve your allowance for things like Waze etc..

We had driven from Scotland so parking was important. The parking was right outside the hotel Although they were catering for Xmas dinners and we hadn’t booked a table, they still made us welcome and arranged a lovely meal. Also, even though Nina had finished her shift, she stayed back to translate the menu for us. A real asset to the hotel.

The room was unbearably hot. The reception desk was never staffed, and I when I asked the chambermaid to change rooms, some lady came to see me but she said the hotel was full. I asked and received a large fan, but it didn't help much. I never had any follow up from any member of staff. They clearly did not give a damn. The single bed was awful. old springs with some ghastly rubber/plastic? sheet under the bottom sheet, and a lumpy pillow. The duvet was too hot and heavy (30 degrees) I did not sleep at all until my local friend lent me a soft pillow and a cotton sheet. Breakfast was ok but waitress unfriendly and a bit scarey!

The location was near Austrian friends locally. The garden looked pretty (though off limits for guests) and the outdoor restaurant looked attractive. The chambermaids were friendly. The bathroom was functional.

On those hot days was barely possible to stay inside the room due to the lack of Air Conditioning and lack of a refrigerator. I would choose this hotel again on winter.

An old fashioned hotel that on an overall rating was ok. For short winter trips is this hotel to recommend. For hot summer days not to recommend.

When choosing rooms, I am always guided by photographs. I made a reservation for my family of 4 people. The children got a good room number 6, as in the photo and I have no complaints about it. But my wife and I were accommodated in another block in an old room (number 11) with an eighties design. brown painted floor in the toilet, plastic cistern, no ventilation. The room has old, shabby furniture... nothing like that in the photographs. and this number cost the same money as a normal one. Since we arrived at 11 pm and were tired from the road, we didn’t discuss anything. The next morning we came for breakfast, which turned out to be very meager, and the ham was spoiled. because of this, my youngest daughter and I suffered from stomach pain all day...

The hotel is quite new and pleasant. convenient location. free parking at the hotel. located at a crossroads. has two blocks: modern one and old. breakfast is included but...

There was no AC in the room and it was quite a hot - but nothing extremely bad as there was ventilator still in the room.

Very nice Guesthouse with a homey vibe to it. My bus arrived early in the morning so I asked the staff in advance to drop off my luggage at 7 am. When I arrived, the lady at reception knew of my request and helped me with that. The 2 golden retrievers that hang out at the reception are adorable and made all the guests feel at home. The room was clean and just like the photos on the website. The windows overlooked the lively street with some traffic but I didn't hear the noise with the windows closed. The bus stop is next to the guesthouse and the busses will take you to the city centre from there.
