As the bell wasn't working i had to wait 25min at check-in until staff arrived. Room number system was very confusing with two building sections plus floors not matching. A bit much for a tired and confused traveller.

It would have been nice if there was a mini fridge in the room as I was unable to keep cold meats, cheese bought from the supermarket. At night it can get a bit noisy as its along one of the main streets that heads towards the town centre and you can hear people outside at night talking and making noise along the street, but I find this no fault of the hotel at all. Its just the people outside behaving in such a manner. Also, I had a plug for phone charging but most of the plugs I connected in the room, there were sparks coming from the socket, so it felt a bit unsafe not knowing what was happening.I should have mentioned this at reception.I was careful though when using the plug to connect my phone.Im not sure if this was due to the new plug I had purchased for charging my phone or due to the sockets in the room. Overall no issues apart from this.

The room was lovely and very spacious.It had an attached bathroom to it.It also had a big telly(TV), there was a table and a cushion to sit on. It would have been nice if there was a chair around in the room.There was no wardrobe but this wasnt an issue as there were plenty of hangers to hang your clothes.The receptionist guy was very nice, friendly and helpful when I arrived and make the check in process so easy.The bed was a double bed and very spacious.The room and the bathoom/toilet was very clean.There was hot and cold running water for shower and tap water.There was a lot of toilet paper provided along with hair dryer and soap,along with plenty of bathroom towels which was amazing. It was very comfortable.The rooms were cleaned every day and if you didnt want your room cleaned during your stay you just needed to hang 'do not disturb' sign to make it understandable for the cleaning staff who were very friendly and nice.The hotel location is about 20 -25 minutes to the main town centre square and very accessible on foot to all the main attractions which are within walking distance.The train station is very close,nearby and from the main bus stop its about 25-30 minutes. There is a local bus stop just outside the hotel.There are cafes,take away food nearby to the hotel,also some restaurants within walking distance and a nearby supermarket within 7-10 minutes walking distance which was very convenient.I didnt try the breakfast but the dining room was very spacious and there was a lot of place to sit and enjoy your time at the hotel. The room was very safe and secure to keep your belongings and the room door works on a code system,which was very secure and modern. The hotel was also very safe and secure.The receptionist area had many guides and maps of Graz which was very useful and informative.The receptionist staff was so lovely that even after check-out I was able to keep my bag in a locked room and able to come and collect it later.

I payed the parking twice,1 time in the evening and 1 more time in the morning when i left.The receptionist gave me the ticket but it didnt work so I had to pay again

Walking distance from the city centre of Graz, I recommend B&B Hotel Graz-Hbf. Friendly and helpful staff, delicious breakfast with local specialities. I had a pleasant stay.

The joint balcony with the whole row of the rooms on the floor felt insecure and more like a hostel, the room is very small. The staff doesn’t pay attention to you to the extent of not saying hello
