Hermine and Alfred are great hosts. Their home is so warm and welcoming, it always felt like you're staying with the family. They take care of all the minute details. The house is located on the residential side of the town between the mountains and is walking distance from the salt Mine entrance. The area is very quiet and beautiful. The breakfast is amazing and even on one day when they knew it's my husband's birthday, they had a cake and candle ready. This kind of personal touch means a lot. We can only recommend this place to everyone.

We had such a great time enjoying Hallstatt. Our host Alfred and his wife were so welcoming and made us feel at home. They prepared a delicious breakfast for us full of thoughtful details. We were walking distance to visit the town and most important we could park the car in one of Alfred's properties.

Hallstatt is as beautiful a place as we've ever been to. We're so glad to have stayed overnight and not just done a day trip. Hermine and Alfreds's B&B is so lovely and they are wonderful, friendly, helpful hosts. Fantastic breakfast.

Our first visit to Hallstatt was really amazing. The view was beautiful, the house was lovely, and our hosts Mrs. Hermine and Mr. Alfred were so nice and kind. Breakfast was very tasty and made with care. We highly recommend staying here to anyone visiting Hallstatt.

We absolutely loved our stay at this airb&b. The homeowners were so wonderful. Their house is so beautiful inside and out. The room was so comfortable and also had a balcony. They had beautiful flowers throughout their property and cute tealights outside. They were so kind and made us a delightful breakfast. We went swimming in their pool, and we were provided coffee and homemade apricot dessert. We even saw each other in the town center while attending a street band concert. This was our favorite stay while in Austria. We can't wait to visit again.

We liked everything in this place! Bright and cosy room with a balcony, rich and delicious breakfast, lovely garden and swimming pool, beautiful house and idyllic atmosphere and landscape around… We could really rest here. We are grateful to the hosts who are warm-hearted and hospitable - it was pleasure to stay here. If we come back to Hallstatt, we would love to stay with Alfred and Hermine again!
