We understood we could breakfast (for a price) at the Hotel Blu but were told when we tried that we should have reserved a table in advance. But the cafe around the corner is open from 08.00 and has a good range of options.

Great central location. Check in at Hotel Blu was easy enough but access with a car is a little complicated - car parking was fine but a few minutes walk away. Aurora itself is a little tired but comfortable enough; the apartment (28) was pretty big - separate bedroom and two bathrooms. The kitchen was limited but enough for a couple of days. There was a large terrace, looking over an internal courtyard with cooking smells from the (recommended) Italian restaurant next door but you could see the mountains...Entry to the spa, included in the cost, is great and makes this really good value for money.

Great place located right in the city centre, very easy to find, super comfortable and clean. The thermal spa entry was a nice bonus.

The curtains of the bedroom were very thin and let i a lot of light from the main street. YOu could line the curtains and give your guests a better night's sleep. It felt a bit cheap.

The appartment was weired planned, and no real private beadrooms, you had to pass the bedroom to get to the bathroom. Beds were not comfy, but better when we asked for extra madrasses.

The entrance to the terminal bath was great! We where there every day.

The kitchen was well equiped, enabling us to prepare some meals. The balcony from the room we stayed offers a great view from the mountains.

Everything was really just fine, and the only suggestion I would have is that huge space of the apartment could be maybe better used. One addition armchair wouldn’t harm, and for such large space dining table is really tiny.

Perfect location, very large apartment, ski cellar, spa-ticket included, beautiful panoramic view from balcony. We were here last year and came back for more :). Last years apartment was great - this years one (no. 16) was even better - even more space and extra bathroom directly from the bedroom.

Mattresses in beds are maybe too old - meaning too soft and not comfortable. Not possible to set the temperature of the water. Too hot.

In Bad Hofgastein everything is close. But the location of Aurora is even more exclusive as it's in the absolute centre. The rooms are big enough. The Kitchen is well equipped. The Internet is working well.

There was no seal on shower screen, despite several messages and visits from a technician this was never fixed properly. This meant we spent the week having to hold the screen in place for each other and mopping water up from the floor. Added to this the balcony was run down and had weeds. Also the bed base coating was flaking off each day. This was totally unacceptable given what we paid for 6 nights, over £900. I have contacted Hotel Blu re compensation and this has been ignored.

Sadly in our room the toilet stank a lot ( probably the plumbing... because aside from that the apartment was really clean) . Since its really bright outside from the street lantern's it would have been good to have thicker curtains as the bedroom was really bright in the evening. Last thing to note was that there was only a LOCKED door between the neighbors Apartment and our bedroom . That meant it was very loud at 7am in the morning.... wish there would have been a whole wall...:(

Generally nice place with nice balcony. Area is also really central...
