A good location for our needs. Next door to an excellent restaurant. The apartment was clean.

The room was smaller than expected and, for us, the bed was too short to lie flat. The room was ok for 4 nights but not for a long stay. The hotel next door was specifically for children and it was quite noisy into the evening. There is no lift and we were on the top floor.

Almkonig is in a great location less than 10.mins from the village centre. The apartment was clean and comfortable and had enough kitchen equipment to be able to self cater although there is an excellent Italian restaurant next door. Marianne who manages the apartments is super friendly and helpful and took time to explain some nice places to go to.

Unless you like the noise of excited children playing ask for a room at the front of the building.

Our stay at Almkönig was really exceptional. The apartment that we had was on the 2nd floor and it was ideal for the stay that we had booked. It was very clean, spacious and very tidy. The apartment had all the little utilities that we needed and it is very much perfectly located within walking distance from everything we had planned. Marion, our host.............was also simply amazing. She was friendly and so very helpful all the time. She went way above and beyond to help us book Tennis Courts, which she did without any discussion whatsoever. She truly contributed enormously to our entire 4 days stay being so very pleasant. I would definitely stay there again and recommend this hotel to everyone.

If I were to complain about anything, it is that there is a Children's hotel next to Almkönig, and if you are a long sleeper, then be aware that in the holidays, there are a few children running around next door.

The property is right in town , short walking distance to the ski lifts and shops in this beautiful village.It has lots of great hiking opportunities. Also the host was very friendly and helpful 😃

The wifi didn’t always work well but I wouldn’t put the apartment down for that it just takes a little longer at times.

everything was exceptional. the room was big, clean and well equipped. Staff was friendly, speaking also in English and willing to provide any information we needed for our vacation. The apartment is literally 3min walk to the ski lift. I totally recommend staying here for your winter holiday. Thank you again!

Very clean apartment in a good location. Host was very helpful and was around every day if we needed to ask anything. The tourist card (hochkonig) was great, gave us free entry to the outdoor pool every day as well as free cable cars and even the summer toboggan run.

Shower cubicle was small and after the first shower the bathroom floor was flooded as the shower doors didn't seal properly at the bottom. Restaurant next door was noisy in the evenings but we were early sleepers so wont bother everyone. Lots of wasps around the windows int he living area as this is near the bin store so every day we had to chase wasps out or keep the windows shut (it was 32 degrees!)

The location was superb, Maria Alm is a good base for your hiking holiday. It was possible to use a sauna. The staff was very helpfull.

The room was quite small and I would not fit in the bed being more than 190cm long. Tv was small, like a computer monitor.

Just an amazing apartment, at a perfect location. Super clean, very well equipped. All machines working properly, all tools provided - you just have the comfort not to run immediately to the shop to buy coffee capsules, trash bags or dishwasher tablets. Marion is a very helpful and nice host, thank you very much again for your flexibility! We booked an apartment where dogs were not allowed (my mistake), and our booking was just changed to an even better apartment, with dogs allowed.

Excellent apartment no 6 with a big balcony with breathtaking views. Next door is the nicest most authentic restaurant in Maria Alm. Plenty of parking on site which is a bonus.

Super nice apartment with excellent and friendly host. We loved how comfortable, nice and clean everything was. We will repeat in the future.

Excellent location in little Maria Alm. The restaurant next door was very good, we ate there several times. Short walk to the center of the village. We used our Hochkönig Card for free cable car and ski lift rides. The staff (Maria) was very helpful and friendly.

An elevator would be nice, but Maria helped us with our bags!

Excellent stay - really lovely place and nice location. The apartment was cosy, but had everything we needed for a week of skiing.

Location, layout inside and also next to the ski cave and provision of a sauna for stiff muscles after skiing. Nice decor and felt clean and homely. Worked well for our extended family to come and dine with us in the spacious kitchen with ample seating for all 7 of us. Would recommend it

Generally it was great and would come again but if could make an improvement it would be that we did run out of hot water in the evening when I wished to shower/ bath before bed. The people above us wore hard shoes on the hard floor in very early morning which was noisy. Advice to walk in soft shoes to people not used to apartment living
