Unfortunately we didn’t have tea making facilities or a small fridge but it certainly didn’t take anything away from the enjoyment of our stay.

The location was brilliant, breakfast was very nice with many choices of food, and the room was also very nice and we intend to visit again.

The perfect location yet quiet

There was a very minor housekeeping issue – but nothing that spoiled our stay. It seems to be a common Austrian theme, but if you like firm pillows, you'll probably have to ask for them. The places to put cases were a little awkward to use because of the padding behind them, which also meant it was difficult to access the safe with a case overhanging it – but this is getting very nit-picking. Basically, we really liked the place!

The staff were very welcoming and helpful. The location (about as central as you can get!) was excellent. We very much enjoyed the breakfast in the top-floor bar area – complete with freshly-cooked Kaiserschmarrn as a final treat. The room wasn't huge but the additional private "conservatory-style" seating area, with chairs, coffee table and a glass roof was a very pleasant surprise.

Paying extra for a view of the gold roof was a pretty tenuous extra expense - if you hung out the edge of the bay window you could just about see a little section. The walls of the room were scuffed. The air conditioning control didn't work. I worked out that I'm not a fan of the impractical sink-in-the-room look, preferring the classic everything-in-the-bathroom, but I knew what I was getting when booking.

A good location in the pedestrianised Altstadt that was close to all the sights. A sincere welcome from reception (at the top of the building) with a drink on the house before going to the room. The hotel was quiet and we only saw other guests at checkin.

The only qualm I have is that the lady who does the room service would knock on our door at different hour of different days where sometimes it would break our sleep cycle. Everything else was perfect.

The convenience of the hotel was amazing, and it is located near lots of good food and the airport. Breakfast is not included. Room was comfy with a kettle and hot water.

The hotel offers a pleasant experience in the city, with a reception and bar on the top floor that provides excellent views. The guest rooms are well-appointed and feature comfortable beds. The hotel also provides convenient luggage storage, allowing guests to explore the city further after check-out.

Broken sink bowl in bedroom. Bar upstairs very busy, which is great for business but not for guests, as you can't get a table.
