Quiet location, friendly staff, cozy and comfortable room.

The breakfast was a disappointment. Very few vegetables and fruits, no butter to be found, and the offer was overall heavy (oily smoked salmon, pickled things, bacons...). No tool to take the bread in a hygienic way, i.e. everyone touched it (esp. children and youngsters from the tennis group...). No plates available first, a little bit strange system of service, esp. for 4* hotel. Cleanliness of the toilette - in the corners... Above bed, the upper right corner (closer to the window) - a huge old spiders web... The furniture with stains... I wish we could give a better evaluation, but compared to other 4* hotels we have been to, this was rather a 3* one.

The staff at the reception was incredibly helpful and kind. We deeply appreciate that.

I think there needed to be more staff working the breakfast area as it seemed to be only one girl and it didn't seem like she could do it all effectively herself.

The room we got was amazing, with a view of the fortress and the mountains out of the window! It was also spotlessly clean and the front desk person was very nice. Check in/out was very easy. I would stay there again for sure and would recommend it to others!

The breakfast was awesome with local produce. I think even mostly organic. The hotel is situated in a quiet area and the room was spacy and comfortable. The restaurant is not cheap, but you get great cuisine with high Falstaff and Gault Millaut ratings. And the staff! YOu will ove them!

About the table cloth i was shocked that we had to pay 8 euros € for two person. Never in my life in the hotel Restaurant paying for that

The only minus for us was that the beds/mattresses were too soft. So it was kind of hard to fall asleep, other than this, we were satisfied in general with everything :)

Doesn't feel and look as a 4 star hotel. The room and the furniture looks old and rusty. Wifi is very bad. Very small TV Price is too big for what they offer. Maybe 60-70 euros should be fine. The floor was very noisy in some place, probably because of the wood

Curtains in the room were stained, the room felt generally old. Very uncomfortable bathroom, the fan/ventilation was not working, but one can't use the toilet with open door because of its placement. Signs of mould in the bathroom due to lack of ventilation. Only one kit in the bathroom even though we were in 2. General confusion with the rooms' placement, a little against logic.

The hotel is positioned in a nice area, green and dog friendly. The common spaces of the hotel and restaurant were very pretty, parking available, kind staff. The room had a little balcony which was a nice surprise. Good, thick curtains, covering nicely the windows, so that the light didn't bother us in the morning. Nice personal kit in the bathroom, unfortunately only one for 2 people!

Although our room had 2 windows facing the road, it was nice and quiet. The room itself was clean and beds were comfy. The bathroom was small, but OK. Soap, shower gel and body lotion were provided in dispensers and a vanity box gave a nice touch. Breakfast could be chosen from a well selected buffet, with hot drinks being served as well as fresh hot food from the kitchen e.g. all kinds of egg dishes. If you have the time (and the means) check out their rewarded restaurant with 3, 4 or 5 courses to choose from as well as à la carte options. Food is simply amazing as is the wine selection. Service is impeccable 5* standard.

Wonderful breakfast. We’ve been on the mountains all day long and the breakfast was so filling that we managed to go a long way on the mountains before we needed to replenish our energy. Very friendly staff too.

There were some troubles within checkin, I would recommend to make you reservation day before, seems to be that they have some gaps in the proces. On other hand, everything has been handled very profesionally and compensate next morning, so I will still choose this property in this area in the future.

Nice place to stay, close to the castle, relatively calm streets in the night, spacious and well equiped rooms, good breakfest. Definitely worth to visit.

Breakfast was absolutely perfect. The location is not bad but 20 minutes to the city center by walking. Just in front of the hotel, there is a bus stop every 20 minutes I guess busses operate to the city center. Only 5 to 6 minutes walking distance from the bus stop to the Soll ski area. And last, the hotel restaurant is perfect to dine in.
