Our room location had a lot of steps from the lift which was a bit of a pain with heavy rolly bags

Location was perfect. We were just 24 hours in Graz and we managed to get to and see all we wanted to from the hotel. Room was excellent, plenty of space.

Because of the time of year we were unable to use the air conditioning even though it was very warm in the room. We tried opening the window to sleep but because of all the restaurants on the street it was very loud, so we had to close the window making it too hot to sleep. We asked if they had a standing or box fan but we were told no. We slept horribly for the 3 nights we were there.

We loved everything!

Everything!! ♥️ Beautifully decorated spacious room. Large bathroom with lots of counter space. Delicious breakfast (23euro extra per person). Loved their Amouro Bar and also the clothing and home goods store attached to the hotel. Fantastic location in Old Town for restaurants, shopping, the river and points of interest; all within a 15 minute walk. Taxi transportation train station to/from hotel takes about 10 minutes. The Graz Festival was supposed to take place on the weekend we were there but sadly canceled due to the unusual inclement weather of high winds and rain. Despite this, we loved visiting Graz!

Absence of staff at breakfast and one male staff member at reception who when I asked for a small amount of milk and some English breakfast tea bags, directed me to the convenience store nearby - I put it down to a language thing.

Everything really. Located centrally, staff on a whole were helpful (especially the young girl at the reception who went above and beyond to find me a doctor), breakfast was good although there was an absence of staff leaving us to find our way around what was offered and the room was large and beautifully appointed. On a whole it lived up to expectations.

The parking is a good 10 min away. Spots to unload/load near the hotel can be completely unavailable. Don't bother with the buffet breakfast. Go for a la carte and you'll be delighted.

A surprisingly nice hotel right in the center. Can't beat the location! Surprisingly large rooms for a boutique city center hotel, and it is generally not claustrophobic at all. The bar on the ground floor is one of "the" places in Graz, with all the positives and the negatives. Pleasant, polite and effective staff.
