How guest reviews work
Each review score is between 1-10. To get the overall score that you see, we add up all the review scores we’ve received and divide that total by the number of review scores we’ve received. We use a weighted review system which means that the more recent the review, the bigger the impact on the total review score calculation. In addition, guests can give separate ‘subscores’ in crucial areas, such as location, cleanliness, staff, comfort, facilities, value for money and free Wi-Fi. Note that guests submit their subscores and their overall scores independently, so there’s no direct link between them.
You can review an Accommodation that you booked through our Platform if you stayed there or if you arrived at the property but didn’t actually stay there. To edit a review you’ve already submitted, please contact our Customer Service team.
We have people and automated systems that specialise in detecting fake reviews submitted to our Platform. If we find any, we delete them and, if necessary, take action against whoever is responsible.
Anyone else who spots something suspicious can always report it to our Customer Service team, so our Fraud team can investigate.
Ideally, we would publish every review we receive, whether positive or negative. However, we won’t display any review that includes or refers to (among other things):
- Politically sensitive comments
- Promotional content
- Illegal activities
- Personal or sensitive information (e.g. emails, phone numbers or credit card info)
- Swear words, sexual references, hate speech, discriminatory remarks, threats, or references to violence
- Spam and fake content
- Animal cruelty
- Impersonation (e.g. if the writer is claiming to be someone else)
- Any violation of our review guidelines.
To make sure reviews are relevant, we may only accept reviews that are submitted within 3 months of checking out, and we may stop showing reviews once they’re 36 months old – or if the Accommodation has a change of ownership.
An Accommodation may choose to reply to a review.
When you see multiple reviews, the most recent ones will be at the top, subject to a few other factors (what language a review is in, whether it’s just a rating or contains comments as well, etc.). If you like, you can sort and/or filter them (by time of year, review score, etc.).
We sometimes show external review scores from other well-known travel websites. We make it clear when we’ve done this.
Guidelines and standards for Reviews
These guidelines and standards aim to keep the content on Booking.com relevant and family-friendly without limiting expression of strong opinions. They are also applicable regardless of the sentiment of the comment.
Contributions should be travel related. The most helpful contributions are detailed and help others make better decisions. Please don’t include personal, political, ethical, or religious commentary. All content should be genuine and unique to the guest. Reviews are most valuable when they are original and unbiased. Your contribution should be yours. Attempts to bring down the rating of a competitor by submitting a negative review will not be tolerated.
Respect the privacy of others. Booking.com will make an effort to obscure email addresses, telephone numbers, website addresses, social media accounts, and similar details.

The apartment was very comfortable, well-equipped, and perfectly located. Everything we needed was available, and the location made it easy to explore the area. Highly recommended!

The appartment is well situated, well equipped. The room is quite big and very clean. The arrival time is flexible, you can have your key from a safe with a code, which is very comfortable. We got all the infromation about our reservation from the ownwer, he is absolutely helpful. You can find Billa 5 min. far from the appartement, Hinterbrühl, Seegrotte, Castle of Lichteinstein are available within 30 min on foot. It's very cosy to stay here for some nights.

It felt a bit let down (like broken bin), but not any major issues. The layout of the apartment was a bit weird and not very suitable for us as two adult couples.
Nice apartment, we had a good stay.

There wasn't enough equipment or furniture for 4 people.
The apartment was in a good location for sightseeing outside of Vienna, and was attractively decorated.

Noisy, street with non stop traffic also at night, so if you want to sleep with open windows be ready for non sleeping night

It was hot but fans were provided. The road outside was busy in the morning but we were up and out quickly so it didn’t bother us too much.
Brilliantly clean, everything was spotless. Beds were comfortable, clean sheets, sufficient towels. 2 bathrooms (shower and sink). Easy to find, parking available.

Nothing to complain about
Great property, close to highway, fresh air. The apartment was very clean, well furnished, big enough for 4 persons. We stay just for one night, but for sure you can spend more quality time here.

The lack of air conditioning, the ventilator hardly makes it tolerable on hot days like these. More attention with cleaning details( the oven tray was very dirty, full of burned oil from what the previous guests cooked).
We liked the contactless check in, the free parking, the modern style of the apartment, spacious enough, close to Billa and easy to get to Vienna, the fast wifi, the quiet, cosy neibourhood. We appreciated the oven, the coffee capsules and the tea offered by host, the delightful blackberries room odorisator used in the bathroom :).

The appartement is located next to a busy street. The noise level is pretty high if you open the windows.
The appartement is spacious and is fitted with all necessary facilities. The kitchen is equipped with a good basic amount of equipment. The bathroom is small but ok. Same for the toilet. The bedroom is pretty spacious and although it was hot outside the room itsself wasn't too hot.

The 'walk-in' shower was the biggest flaw of the entire flat. Water was constantly splashing over the floor no matter how careful we were. Lack of any drying rack for wet towels wasn't helping either. The bed was a bit too soft for me - it felt like I was drowning in the matress, but I suppose it's a matter of taste. On the first day we also found 2 or 3 huge spiders. It wasn't hard to take them out of the flat, but my wife was seriously scared.
This place is a fantastic spot for active people. The train station that leads straight to the middle of the Vienna City is just 30-40 minutes away on foot from the hotel. Free parking spot is an amazing money saver. The flat itself was well organized. A handy guide in english was a nice addition.

the heating was a little too warm for us on arrival but we were able to turn down the thermostat to a comfortable level

We only stayed here as a stop over on a road trip. Easy check in and clean apartment. Parking was available so that was a bonus. We had the ground floor so that helped with our luggage. I would use this apartment again!!!
