“Our hosts were friendly and welcoming, although we spoke no German and they spoke no English. We had a very tasty and inexpensive evening meal and they were unfazed by one of us being vegetarian. The breakfast was a small buffet but then eggs etc were cooked to order and were perfectly cooked. It snowed overnight and our host helped us to clear the snow from the car.”
