“We stayed at Gästehaus Huber Holzgau during our LechWeg hike and had a wonderful experience. The location is easy to reach and perfect for walkers on the trail. Vallentina was incredibly responsive and accommodating, even allowing for a late arrival. Dirk gave a friendly, thorough tour of the house.
Our room was clean, cosy, and had a nice balcony and a small fridge, with breakfast included in the price. The house is a bit outdated, but that’s reflected in the price and didn’t affect our comfort. A last-minute laundry request was no problem, and Vallentina helped us out, which was incredibly convenient after a long day on the trail.
Overall, a warm, welcoming stay with attentive hosts and good value. Highly recommended for hikers and travelers seeking a comfortable base in Holzgau.”
“The location is perfect - it is very close to hiking trails. It is particularly good if you are walking the Lechweg as it is right on the trail .
The rooms are super comfortable, staff extremely nice and the simple „help yourself „ breakfast is excellent- great for getting you going!”
“The house was very clean. We had an apartment designed in traditional Alpine style, with a modern bathroom and a balcony.
The host was super friendly, and our dog was also welcome.
The bread service was fantastic – every day we had fresh, tasty bread hung on our door after ordering it the day before.
We could store our bikes and bike trailer in the garage, a dry and safe place.
The location is perfect for hiking and cycling.
We also received the Lechtal Card, which allowed us to use several cable cars for free – a great saving, as one return ticket costs around €20.
