I chose this property because it had a pool and I was there during some hot weather. I was gutted to find the pool closed/completely emptied but I don’t think this is unusual for hotels in August (winter), especially when they’re unheated. There was also a little mix up with the reception man who mistakenly told me the horse riding centre would accept payment via credit card…they didn’t and I didn’t have any cash…not a good situation and could have been avoided if the correct information had been communicated.

It was so quiet and peaceful - you’re out of the centre of Cafayate and I preferred this. I could hear the waterfall outside my bedroom door. The location is fantastic because you’re higher up than the hotels in the centre so you get a great view of the mountains, vineyards, sunsets and sunrises. The food was great for breakfast, dinner and lunch. Very good service from staff. The reception staff organised a massage for me and horse riding - nothing was too much trouble. Mate tasting was a nice little extra. Rooms were large and comfortable with patio doors to allow for a nice view of the sunrise/sunset. The best place I stayed on my three week trip of Brazil/Argentina. The other boutique hotel I stayed at in the centre of Cafayate was nowhere near as good.

Had hoped the included breakfast would be better than it was. We had to break up our Cafayate stay between two hotels due to availability and the other hotel’s breakfast was far superior with more choices, while the price of the rooms were almost identical

A bit off the beaten track, took about 2 h return to go with bike into town with lunch. Perhaps longer bicycle hire for a fee...? For a wine hotel one would like a bit more onsite information about the local wineries/ Perhaps a wine tasting opportunity? One can also suggest a bit more local info of restaurants/things to see etc. But everything was really great and we enjoyed our stay thourougly. Strongly recommend it!

the staff wasn’t flexible at all. we had travelled all day and arrived after 10pm. guys in the kitchen wanted to go home on a Saturday night. in the country where people start their diner at 10 pm we were quite surprised. when we asked for just a bit of bread, cheese and ham, easy, they said it wasn’t possible. bit frustrating for an hotel with such standard and consequent price. breakfast was ok in the morning but not exceptional.

The location is amazing. surrounded by vineyards and mountains. the facilities are very nice. beds were truly amazing!

As our journey brought us back to Cafayate, this hotel was unavailable for a second stay. Given the value here, this is understandable, book well in advance.

Great location on a rise in front of a vineyard. We had a room with a view and was great value. This room was large with a covered patio on the view side. Breakfast was good, dinner offerings were good as well. The pool is large and has an attendant ready to supply wine, other beveriges and snacks. Very large and private grounds. There is a winery well within walking distance offering tours, lunch and tastings. A bit further down the road by car is Finca Los Neubes. A great place for a relaxed vineyard lunch.

The last bit of road to the winery is absolutely horrendous. If you drive your own car, be very careful or you will get a flat tire. We also thought the dinner at the hotel was at best average.

There was a party of loud young Americans who talked so loudly in the dining room that their fellow countrymen kept looking round. Not the hotels fault. They may have been a Deaf School outing.

The resort is located about three kilometers outside Cafayate on a very quiet (dirt) road. There are (fortunately!) no barking dogs around. The view of the surrounding mountains is beautiful. The complex itself is very comfortable with nice rooms and a spacious bathroom (with a double shower curtain, very nice). We had a room on the 1st floor, with a balcony overlooking the courtyard and the surroundings, where the sun shone in the morning. The breakfast was (compared to all other breakfasts we had in Argentina) very extensive and tasty. From the resort you can take a walk to the "7 waterfalls". A guide is mandatory for the last part, and we were happy with that afterwards, because it was quite a scramble, including very photogenic places.

We loved the views, the beautiful surroundings, the vineyard, the olive trees, it was so peaceful and comfortable, we did not want to leave! We will definitely stay here again when we come back to Cafayate.

Hotel is under construction. It ruined my stay. I was not told that this was the case. Could not sleep in the morning or enjoy the people as a result of the loud noise Breakfast should be improved. When I told the hotel manager about the issue at check out he just said sorry. Did not offer any refund. He even charge me the bottle of wine I had consumed while he was saying “sorry that your holidays was ruined - We usually tell people that hotel is under construction”.
