A bit dusty under the bed.

Valle Frio is an excellent accommodation and base for visiting Ushuaia and the Tierra de Fuego, and for snow skiing at Cerro Castor. I had a relatively long and comfortable stay of 10 days. The room was a comfortable size, clean, and well laid out. The bed was reasonably comfortable— king size. The private balcony was a nice feature with a view out to the mountains and Beagle Bay. The bathroom was small but of a modern update and very functional. The hotel is well located—about 5 minutes to the main street and numerous great restaurants. The hospitality was excellent; three brothers are the proprietors and are incredibly friendly, knowledgeable of the area, and helpful with general information and recommendations for whatever topic is needful. The breakfast there at the hotel are very good with several options, including eggs, some good choices of breads, fruit, yogurt, good brewed coffee (no espresso), and such typical fare. I was there mainly for snow skiing. The ski shuttle stops right near the hotel, however, I took an Uber to the slopes each day as it was very reasonably priced parentheses about $14 US each way parentheses. The trip took less than 30 minutes. The hotel has a nice storage area for skis and equipment downstairs. The hotel also has an elevator, which is a nice feature for a small hotel after a long day of skiing.

Need to wear a sweater in the morning for breakfast in winter.

The breakfast was fine. The three brothers took turns working breakfast. All three would readily make eggs to order in the morning. The rooms were cozy and warm. The brothers were so kind and respectful. I would happily stay with them anytime.

Wifi only worked 1 night out of 4 I booked 4 rooms, 2 were modern and with balcony, 2 were in a basement. Ask the owners before booking which room u will get, cuz in the app there is no difference and you might get the "not that nice rooms". However staff made me a partial refund due to the differences of the 2 rooms in the basement.

The smell in the bathroom was unbearable. It was not because it was not cleaned. I think it is a matter requiring a plumber.

The location, the cleanness, the breakfast. They also provided a list with a lot of activities to do in Ushuaia.

I didn't like the nylon top mat on the bed . Also I could have benefitted from an extra blanket being available in the room.

The location was perfect for me. Quiet but easily accessible to centre. The room was perfect size and very comfortable bed. Breakfast was really good. Lots of choice even for a Vegan! Presentation beautiful. Hosts could not have been more helpful !!

Rooms a little bit outdated and simplistic, would love to have new carpets, more lighting for a brighter view and more hangers for clothes, also more electrical outlets.

Sweet family owned small hotel. All three brothers were charming and helpful. They served an early delicious breakfast to accommodate our travel needs. Easy walking distance to main commercial area and port. Excellent value for the money.

Very nice and friedly guesthouse 10 mns walking from Ushuaia town center. It is a little bit uphill in a green and quiet neighborhood. Nice mansion-style rooms, extremely good breakfast with lots of options and excellent choice. Nice and friendly staff - I really enjoyed my stay.
