How guest reviews work
Each review score is between 1-10. To get the overall score that you see, we add up all the review scores we’ve received and divide that total by the number of review scores we’ve received. We use a weighted review system which means that the more recent the review, the bigger the impact on the total review score calculation. In addition, guests can give separate ‘subscores’ in crucial areas, such as location, cleanliness, staff, comfort, facilities, value for money and free Wi-Fi. Note that guests submit their subscores and their overall scores independently, so there’s no direct link between them.
You can review an Accommodation that you booked through our Platform if you stayed there or if you arrived at the property but didn’t actually stay there. To edit a review you’ve already submitted, please contact our Customer Service team.
We have people and automated systems that specialise in detecting fake reviews submitted to our Platform. If we find any, we delete them and, if necessary, take action against whoever is responsible.
Anyone else who spots something suspicious can always report it to our Customer Service team, so our Fraud team can investigate.
Ideally, we would publish every review we receive, whether positive or negative. However, we won’t display any review that includes or refers to (among other things):
- Politically sensitive comments
- Promotional content
- Illegal activities
- Personal or sensitive information (e.g. emails, phone numbers or credit card info)
- Swear words, sexual references, hate speech, discriminatory remarks, threats, or references to violence
- Spam and fake content
- Animal cruelty
- Impersonation (e.g. if the writer is claiming to be someone else)
- Any violation of our review guidelines.
To make sure reviews are relevant, we may only accept reviews that are submitted within 3 months of checking out, and we may stop showing reviews once they’re 36 months old – or if the Accommodation has a change of ownership.
An Accommodation may choose to reply to a review.
When you see multiple reviews, the most recent ones will be at the top, subject to a few other factors (what language a review is in, whether it’s just a rating or contains comments as well, etc.). If you like, you can sort and/or filter them (by time of year, review score, etc.).
We sometimes show external review scores from other well-known travel websites. We make it clear when we’ve done this.
Guidelines and standards for Reviews
These guidelines and standards aim to keep the content on Booking.com relevant and family-friendly without limiting expression of strong opinions. They are also applicable regardless of the sentiment of the comment.
Contributions should be travel related. The most helpful contributions are detailed and help others make better decisions. Please don’t include personal, political, ethical, or religious commentary. Promotional content will be removed and issues concerning Booking.com’s services should be routed to our Customer Service or Accommodation Service teams.
Contributions should be appropriate for a global audience. Please avoid using profanity or attempts to approximate profanity with creative spelling, in any language. Comments and media that include 'hate speech', discriminatory remarks, threats, sexually explicit remarks, violence, and the promotion of illegal activity are not permitted.
All content should be genuine and unique to the guest. Reviews are most valuable when they are original and unbiased. Your contribution should be yours. Booking.com property partners should not post on behalf of guests or offer incentives in exchange for reviews. Attempts to bring down the rating of a competitor by submitting a negative review will not be tolerated.
Respect the privacy of others. Booking.com will make an effort to obscure email addresses, telephone numbers, website addresses, social media accounts, and similar details.
The opinions expressed in contributions are those of Booking.com customers and properties and not of Booking.com. Booking.com does not accept responsibility or liability for any reviews or responses. Booking.com is a distributor (without any obligation to verify) and not a publisher of these comments and responses.
By default, reviews are sorted based on the date of the review and on additional criteria to display the most relevant reviews, including but not limited to: your language, reviews with text, and non-anonymous reviews. Additional sorting options may be available (by type of traveller, by score, etc.).

Verified reviewThe host Marjory was excellent.
There were many children there which we did not expect at a winery property. Dinner is not available at the property you have to drive to town over a rocky, bumpy road.

Verified reviewOverall we loved our stay at Miraluna. The room was big and bed very comfortable - had a great sleep! Setting is beautiful surrounded by vines. Staff are very friendly and welcoming too. Nice to have a wood burner in the lounge too for cold nights. We didn’t use the pool as it was cold but it looked beautiful.
A few things missing - we felt it was overpriced. - would have expected a free bottle of wine or at least free glass of wine with our stay as we are staying on the Miraluna winery. This was not offered but we got to taste two wines (very very tiny amount to share in a glass to share) and then had to buy the rest. For the price, we would expect this to be included. - planned on doing a wine tour the next day but then told that it would be late in the following afternoon after we checked out. Again, even a private tour should have been offered as it was on the vineyard - the breakfast was very basic. The coffee wasn’t made in a pot but two sachets of granules delivered. Also the bread wasn’t toasted - so we had to do it ourselves with limited kitchen facilities. Only powdered milk provided which seems ridiculous - there must be a shop that sells milk nearby? Felt like they couldn’t be bothered to include fresh produce. Also, would have been nice to have fresh fruit as the breakfast here was the same as other much cheaper hotels around Argentina (£20 per night and same breakfast as here) - no coffee maker in room - the produce in the shop is basic and very expensive. As there are no shops around I would expect better produce. I have read reviews of people being offered Argentinan food delivered but we didn’t have that option so bought overpriced pasta sauce and overpriced Parmesan - both tasted very bad. - I think the hotel needs to offer a few extras above for the price. Felt overpriced for what we were given.

Verified reviewReally beautiful, lovely wines, a really well appointed self catering cabin. We really enjoyed. Be aware it’s about 20 mins drive from town!
A very small point, but the shower could be hotter!

Verified reviewNice location in the middle of a bodega. Super friendly staff.
Given the price, it is from our perspective quite overrated. The cabaña is very rustic. The pool simple and not clean. The breakfast was lovingly prepared and delivered to the cabaña, but just not enough for us.
Dear Michel, thanks for your comment. The cabins were built with materials of the area (wood, slabs, adobe) precisely to be in harmony with the landcape. The decoration seeks to value our culture throught the exibition of local artists work. The photographs on our page reflect and highlight the rustic style. We are sorry for not meeting your expectations. Manuela.

Verified reviewLocation is slightly remote from town (8kms) which makes it tranquil and peaceful. Surroundings are beautiful and gardens well kept.
Because of the distance, you will require a taxi or your own transport to town for dinner. Manager on site is happy to arrange transport for you. Only suggestion is some fly spray and milk to be available in accommodation.

Verified reviewThis is a very nice place to relax and enjoy free time. The room is vast and includes a kitchen and a living room. The access to a garden was appreciated ( cherry tomatoes, peppers, squash). The swimming pool and the view were ideal to relax. We recommend the place if you can get there early during the day or for more than one night stay to take advantage of the location and amenities.
The distance to Cachi might be a problem if your time is limited. The shower could be improved (low water pressure).

Verified reviewAbsolutely loved staying at beautiful Miraluna!!! Our cabin had everything we needed to make our stay very comfortable. Breakfast was delivered to our room each morning in a lovely basket. Reception had a small supply of food to cook with (pasta, sauce etc), which was great. The swimming pool was also very lovely! We also did a free tour + staying of the bodega.
