Overall a nice stay, but overpriced

A few things missing - we felt it was overpriced. - would have expected a free bottle of wine or at least free glass of wine with our stay as we are staying on the Miraluna winery. This was not offered but we got to taste two wines (very very tiny amount to share in a glass to share) and then had to buy the rest. For the price, we would expect this to be included. - planned on doing a wine tour the next day but then told that it would be late in the following afternoon after we checked out. Again, even a private tour should have been offered as it was on the vineyard - the breakfast was very basic. The coffee wasn’t made in a pot but two sachets of granules delivered. Also the bread wasn’t toasted - so we had to do it ourselves with limited kitchen facilities. Only powdered milk provided which seems ridiculous - there must be a shop that sells milk nearby? Felt like they couldn’t be bothered to include fresh produce. Also, would have been nice to have fresh fruit as the breakfast here was the same as other much cheaper hotels around Argentina (£20 per night and same breakfast as here) - no coffee maker in room - the produce in the shop is basic and very expensive. As there are no shops around I would expect better produce. I have read reviews of people being offered Argentinan food delivered but we didn’t have that option so bought overpriced pasta sauce and overpriced Parmesan - both tasted very bad. - I think the hotel needs to offer a few extras above for the price. Felt overpriced for what we were given.

Overall we loved our stay at Miraluna. The room was big and bed very comfortable - had a great sleep! Setting is beautiful surrounded by vines. Staff are very friendly and welcoming too. Nice to have a wood burner in the lounge too for cold nights. We didn’t use the pool as it was cold but it looked beautiful.

A very small point, but the shower could be hotter!

Really beautiful, lovely wines, a really well appointed self catering cabin. We really enjoyed. Be aware it’s about 20 mins drive from town!

Because of the distance, you will require a taxi or your own transport to town for dinner. Manager on site is happy to arrange transport for you. Only suggestion is some fly spray and milk to be available in accommodation.

Location is slightly remote from town (8kms) which makes it tranquil and peaceful. Surroundings are beautiful and gardens well kept.

The distance to Cachi might be a problem if your time is limited. The shower could be improved (low water pressure).

This is a very nice place to relax and enjoy free time. The room is vast and includes a kitchen and a living room. The access to a garden was appreciated ( cherry tomatoes, peppers, squash). The swimming pool and the view were ideal to relax. We recommend the place if you can get there early during the day or for more than one night stay to take advantage of the location and amenities.

Absolutely loved staying at beautiful Miraluna!!! Our cabin had everything we needed to make our stay very comfortable. Breakfast was delivered to our room each morning in a lovely basket. Reception had a small supply of food to cook with (pasta, sauce etc), which was great. The swimming pool was also very lovely! We also did a free tour + staying of the bodega.

The shower was weak and not very hot - but fine.

The hotel is a beautiful oasis - it is far from Cachi so you need a car (20 minute drive in). You should either eat in the restaurants in Cachi or bring food for your stay. There are a few things in the reception area but not loads. It is so peaceful, you can't hear anyone else. The lodge you stay in is really big. A bedroom, living area, kitchen (well equiped with saucepans/plates/2 rings on a camping stove/microwave - no oven). They provide water and refill it for you, mini fridge, table and chairs. The view is incredible and the stars are beautiful at night.

Stunning bodega and location. The lodges were really cosy and well equipped. The was a fire place with a basket of wood (who doesn’t love that?) and a nice kitchen with all the basics you might need. At the reception you can buy some instant meals if you haven’t eaten yet (the lodge is at a remote location so you have to drive to get to a restaurant) which is pretty convenient. They also sell their own wines which you can try when you arrive at the picknick table in front of your cabin. There is also a small pool accessible for all guests. And the best part: you can go behind the lodge for startgazing, the views are spectacular (including Milky Way).

a bit far from the center and on a dirt road. There’s also no cell phone reception and the Wi-Fi in the cabanas can be poor sometimes.

Not a dislike, but more a heads up - follow the directions in the photo on here, not a map app. Luckily we were in a fairly high car as our app sent us on an "interesting" route!

Beautiful spot amongst the vines, surrounded by mountains, just outside the lovely town of Cachi. Spacious room - more like an apartment! Tastefully decorated with local artisan items. Kitchen fine for self catering (useful as no restaurant on site and driving distance to Cachi). Comfy bedroom and lounge area. Opportunity to do a wine tour in the afternoon or morning (in spanish - so lucky a fellow guest acted as translator!)

Even though this property is 8km for Cachi it is only a 20 min drive on the car, however the road leading to the property is very similar to the rest of Ruta 40. But do not let this deter you from staying here. It is a small price for the beauty of the property.

A superb property set in the most idyllic of locations. -The cabins are spacious, cosy and cool providing a nice escape from the afternoon heat. -You are surrounded by vines which are overlooked by the mountains in the background providing a beautiful scenery. - You are free to walk around the winery at any time, enjoying a glass of wine on your walk if you wish. There are also free tours. -The pool is a lively spot to relax and has the best views of the surrounding countryside.

Really nice hotel, about a 20 min drive from Cachi on a gravel road. Staff was friendly and Checo gave us a nice tour of the vineyard. You can also try a glass of their wines for about 2 or 3 usd. The room was spacious and clean, and the breakfast was nice.
