How guest reviews work
Each review score is between 1-10. To get the overall score that you see, we add up all the review scores we’ve received and divide that total by the number of review scores we’ve received. We use a weighted review system which means that the more recent the review, the bigger the impact on the total review score calculation. In addition, guests can give separate ‘subscores’ in crucial areas, such as location, cleanliness, staff, comfort, facilities, value for money and free Wi-Fi. Note that guests submit their subscores and their overall scores independently, so there’s no direct link between them.
You can review an Accommodation that you booked through our Platform if you stayed there or if you arrived at the property but didn’t actually stay there. To edit a review you’ve already submitted, please contact our Customer Service team.
We have people and automated systems that specialise in detecting fake reviews submitted to our Platform. If we find any, we delete them and, if necessary, take action against whoever is responsible.
Anyone else who spots something suspicious can always report it to our Customer Service team, so our Fraud team can investigate.
Ideally, we would publish every review we receive, whether positive or negative. However, we won’t display any review that includes or refers to (among other things):
- Politically sensitive comments
- Promotional content
- Illegal activities
- Personal or sensitive information (e.g. emails, phone numbers or credit card info)
- Swear words, sexual references, hate speech, discriminatory remarks, threats, or references to violence
- Spam and fake content
- Animal cruelty
- Impersonation (e.g. if the writer is claiming to be someone else)
- Any violation of our review guidelines.
To make sure reviews are relevant, we may only accept reviews that are submitted within 3 months of checking out, and we may stop showing reviews once they’re 36 months old – or if the Accommodation has a change of ownership.
An Accommodation may choose to reply to a review.
When you see multiple reviews, the most recent ones will be at the top, subject to a few other factors (what language a review is in, whether it’s just a rating or contains comments as well, etc.). If you like, you can sort and/or filter them (by time of year, review score, etc.).
We sometimes show external review scores from other well-known travel websites. We make it clear when we’ve done this.

Walls/doors are quite thin. Could hear people in the corridor and room next door.
Excellent hotel and staff. Stayed there 3 nights. The staff is very kind and attentive. High quality bedding and linens in the room. Bathroom is recent and clean. Breakfast simple but balanced. And very thoughtful gesture: the hotel offered a bottle of regional wine before leaving. Really appreciated my stay.

The staff was great; very pleasant, friendly, helpful. The hotel was new and nicely maintained, but the room was smallish. Decent breakfast. Close to the main square.

The pillows were too thick and stiff, leaving a crick in your neck. Also, it was difficult to turn off the heat in the room which should have been an option for people who like sleeping in cool temperatures.
Buffet-style breakfast with fruit, eggs, all kinds of bread, typical sweets, cheese, ham, and cereals. The facilities were very clean and nicely decorated, and the employees of the hotel were extremely helpful.

Everything was great!

The only issue we had was the water from the fantastic shower ran onto the floor, no matter what we did.
Wonderful boutique hotel. Very clean, well presented and the breakfast was very good. The staff were polite and helpful. The location was ideal. Just a short walk to the main square and not far from other attractions and areas. We felt very safe throughout our stay.

The hotel and staff are amazing. The room was big, equipped and very clean. Position is very central in the city and the breakfast was delicious. Staff was very nice and helpful (I got sick while there and they were so helpful and careful with me and my husband) Definitely the best hotel we had in Argentina!

Nicely decorated place, we stayed in a big bedroom. Staff were super friendly, letting us stay in the living area after we checked out when we had a late-night bus, and loads of extra nice touches.

The attention to detail was outstanding, including the presentation of the breakfast buffet. We loved the really welcoming and warm natured staff. Icing on the cake was the hospitality gift of a bottle of Malbec which was a fantastic touch. We would definitely stay here if we came back to Salta.

The MG Design Boutique hotel is a wonderfully modern, clean and comfortable stay in the heart of Salta. It is located directly opposite a park in the city center with lots of greenery, on site parking and very central to many sites in the city. The rooms are superb, with large comfortable beds, beautiful clean bathrooms and modern finishes. The courtyard is also great to enjoy your breakfast, which is a continental offering of cold cuts, bread, cheeses, yoghurt etc. Highly recommended stay!

Love the staff - always friendly and accommodating. The hotel is comfortable and quiet, with parking on-sight. Staff park the car and bring it out when you need it. Also in a great location or walking!

Very nice boutique hotel - very clean, nice size room, excellent breakfast. Right across from a lovely park and easy access to downtown and other sight seeing places (e.g., easy walk to cable cars, and Avenue 9, shops, and restaurants).

Excellent hotel with beautiful design. The rooms are so nice and with high quality. The bed is good and the bathroom very nice and spacy. The location is quiet and peaceful, no noisy busses running through the street. The bus terminal is only 5 minutes walk away through a park, and the town square can be reached in 10-15 minutes on foot. The breakfast is great, and all staff members are friendly and provide you with helpful service
