Security to get into the compound where the hotel is located is a bit tedious, as you need to show the boot of the car and your passport each time you leave or get into the compound / hotel

the tennis court was supposedly first come first serve but when we started to play, other people kicked us out because they were ‘club members’ and had priority.

Rooms and gym needs a refresh, old style and old furniture . No coffee machine, rope, slippers or snacks available in the room. No bell attendant or valet parking. Expected from a 5 stars hotel.

Access to the facility from the main road is a hassle. If you do not plan on playing golf, search for a better place to stay the night. The room wasn't clean and poorly maintained. Overall, this facility should not be categorized as 5 star but rather a 3 star hotel.

Old furniture and carpets, (even elevator has stickers for numbers ) terrible pillows, can’t control room temperature, and blind were inside not allowing us to leave window open and blinds down for fresh air. Poor Quality breakfast, spa only includes pool the rest (couple sauna, jacuzzi etc) only paying extra. Working in the hospitality business around the world I assure you I would never recommend this hotel to anyone.

Daily cleaning was not a 5 star. Restaurant meals not constant.

Very friendly staff, specially Sabrina who is very friendly and helpful! The hotel is beautiful, even though a little far from the city. Good breakfast but with few options. I had dinner twice in the restaurant and once dish was superb (tenderloin) but the other was not good (the steak). It looked like two different restaurants made the dishes.

It's an ageing place, and needs renovations. The rooms are devoid of air conditioning (which is especially an issue for those rooms facing West, as the setting sun heats them up to unpleasant hotness). The bathtub in our room was worn out, with unsavory brown stains. The spa smells of damp and its equipment is outdated, or even dangerous as per current standards (for example: steam bath with steam outlet directly next to one's feet = risk of burns, scottish shower is scalding hot, etc.). The gym is no exception: the treadmill is old and wobbly, and one can't set both an incline and a speed lest one encounter some mysterious error that stops the treadmill... All in all, it was a pleasant stay (mostly due to lovely staff), but the state of the hotel doesn't match one's expectations of a 5-star hotel.

The hotel is located quite close to San Martin de los Andes, within a golf course - the hotel surroundings are therefore very quiet and peaceful. We could even see some geese wandering about, and a rabbit or two! The restaurant offers a magnificent view of the mountains and of the sunset. Food is good, though the choice of dinner isn't immense. The staff, however, was awesome: Gabriela, at the front desk, was immensely helpful when it came to answering our many questions regarding the hotel. Her mastery of French came in very handy, and she was also able to accomodate our request for a room with twin beds, and an extension of our stay. Fernando, one of the spa therapists, is also a real asset to the hotel, as he is highly skilled (the quality of the massage was uncomparable so far!!).
