Perfect place to stay, close to buses and subte with nice coffee places, bars and restaurant around.

No communal bathroom

Charming room on the ground floor with spacious bathroom. Lovely courtyard and communal kitchen and great stuff looking after me during the stay.

We had very slow (over 24 hours) periods of no response from staff to messages (not on the premises due to chrismas). Our bathroom smelt of urine, and we requested a clean, but this did not occur, which was frustrating considering the money/nights spent there.

This was a beautiful place to base ourselves whilst we explored Buenos Aires. The rooms, common area courtyard and kitchen were all excellent.

We liked everything about it and would highly recommend it to our friends and family. What made it extra special was Francisco and Lina ... they were so friendly and made us feel at home. They had lots of local information to help us plan our daily itineraries!

The location was perfect. We were able to walk to nearby sites and restaurants and easily get an Uber to others. The location was safe and convenient!

Lina's Tango Guesthouse is a great place to stay. The location, the place with patio, clean room with everything you need. But the best thing about the place is Lina. Lina is really kind en friendly and she will make you feel at home and will give you the chance to learn more about typical Argentina things like making empanadas or going to a milonga. Lina gives your stay just that something extra. Would highly recommend to stay there.

I wish I could have stayed longer!

I booked three nights at Lina's Tango Guesthouse and I ended up staying for two weeks! The charming guesthouse has all the amenities a traveler would need. It is located within walking distance to restaurants, cafes, Plaza Dorrego and the famous Sunday San Telmo Fair. Both Lina and Francisco are wonderful hosts and made my stay very enjoyable. Francisco was very helpful with the check in process (he speaks both Spanish and English) and his travel tips. He also arranged tickets for an evening tango show and got me a great table to photograph the dancers. One night we had a group dinner with all the guests where Francisco played guitar and Lina showcased her tango dancing. Thank you for a memorable stay!

Lina’s was so comfortable and the staff so helpful. My room was clean, cosy and quite. I had to check in earlier than I thought and the staff were so helpful and accommodating.

Mosquitoes but it’s a beautiful fragrant courtyard at night from the scent of the flowers 🌺 so that’s understandable

I loved the kindness of Francisco who kindly played Tango guitar for us so we could dance in the courtyard! 🥰A beautiful memorable experience hugs Simone y Thomas) ❤️🙌🤩🥰💃👠

Lina is the sweetest kindest host! I felt very safe and comfortable, like a home away from home. The inner courtyard is a quiet and peaceful retreat from the interesting and often busy neighborhood. The bed was so comfortable. so nice to have kitchen space and the courtyard to take time for thinking and preparing plans for explorations.

Not an area to walk alone at night but plenty of taxis and Uber.

The courtyard is charming, kitchen area was good with access to fridge. Francisco and Lina were super helpful. Location was great for San Telmo Market, trains and buses. Supermarkets nearby. One morning Breakfast in the courtyard talking to the other guests with Lina, Fransisco playing his guitar and a bird coming in feeding her chicks was a magical way to start a day off! would definitely recommend!

Very friendly and helpful people, we immediately felt at home. Nice bars and restaurants around, close to public transport (subte and buses).

The only downside of being located in pictoresque San Telmo is that it can be a bit noisy. The room that we had, was not looking on the street, so it was not noisy per se, on the contrary, it was very nice and calm, but it is right next to a club, which meant that there was loud music at Friday and Saturday nights coming through the walls. So my advice: if you are a sound sleeper or if you intend to spend your weekends outside partying, this is a very nice option, but if this is not the case, be careful with Friday and Saturday nights (weekdays are ok).

This is a very nice guesthouse, located in San Telmo, full of charm. The owner is also very kind and helpful.
