My room was noisy. I could hear all the noise from the restaurant and the rooms around. But well, I would still come back again. Overall everything was good. Would be nice if they have frigobars in the rooms.

The location is amazing, in front of the lake. It has some restaurants around so even if you don't have a car is very comfy. Also the bus stop is 1 block away so is great. Beautiful views and lovely staff.

I would add some salty options to the breakfast, maybe some eggs, vegetables… it’s only sweet and a lot of lactose products.

We only discovered that they offered ham and cheese at breakfast on the last day! You just have to ask for it.

It is a unique property with lots of character. You can’t beat the views of the lake from our room and relaxing on one of the decks by the lake was a real treat . The room was clean and pretty quiet and the staff, especially Tamara and Andrés were so friendly. Also, there are lots of restaurants in walking distance and a beach nearby to go swimming on a hot day. We were very happy that we found this place.

Views to die for! Breakfast was wonderful: good selection, lovely pottery crockery, complimented with exceptional views - a great way to start the day. Rooms clean and comfortable.

Breakfast was very poor, no meat, cheese, eggs, just bread varieties like medialunas and cookies. Bed blanket wasn’t as clean as expected. Walls are thin so you could here when someone is walking on the floor above

The outside terrace from the small parking lot down the hill was not accessible since they were re-doing it. There was no air conditioning which was missed during an unusual heat wave. There is no bar nor restaurant on site. The front desk closes at 8:00 p.m. and you will need a key to enter the locked front door to the hotel. Make sure you can speak Spanish and don’t forget to pay the eco tax in the city that is required of all tourists.

It had a beautiful view of the lake. It was a lovely rustic Swiss chalet feel including the breakfast room. Located outside of town but can easily go into town with a cab.

The staff could have been more polite and smile from time to make us feel less of a burden. The room was bare, no closet space and only one cabinet with 4 drawers. The mattress was hard and my back was hurting a lot and it was difficult to sleep because of the excessive noise from the room upstairs (there is zero soundproofing and every step was felt on our room). The door handle of the bathroom was broken and fell on the floor 8 times a day. Even though I have let the reception know, it was not repaired. The bathroom was very small and the bathtub was so small that it was hard to take a shower without wetting the whole bathroom floor. The breakfast was very limited and not at all like the good reviews I had seen. No espresso, no cappuccino, only drip coffee and cold milk. Although they had an espresso machine they would not turn it on for breakfast, which is actually baffling. No effort to please the guest at any length, just the very bare minimum. The only thing this Hosteria has going on is actually the wonderful view of Nahuel Huapi lake- nothing else. What is more disappointing was that I had stayed there 15 years ago and had great memories and therefore did not look into any other accommodation at Bariloche as I wanted to stay at the same place. What a mistake!

They charged converting to the tourist dollar, what made it almost twice as expansive. It was the only hotel that I stayed that tried it. The room was very tiny, almost no circulation, had a leak in the window, no way to regulate the heat... my pillow was dirty! The room had bars on the windows... They were remodeling the outside so my view was to that, and the halls were dirty with mud.
