Hosteria Patagonia offered an affordable stay in El Calafate, it is located close enough to the main street and commerce. The room had plenty of space, and the Wifi quality was very acceptable. The staff was very helpful and friendly!

It was alright in general.. But in my room I could hear ALL the sounds of ALL the neighbours… and couldn’t sleep well because of this Besides, they didn’t allow me to check out even a minute later than 10:00 even though I arrived much later and lost a night due to the strike of the local airlines Next time in Calafate I’m not going to stay in this hotel and cannot recommend this place

We enjoyed our stay here it was perfect for a couple of nights and visiting Perito Merino. Free breakfast had a good selection. Good value for money.

The breakfast was pretty sweet for our taste and the room was pretty cold at night. Reception staff is only there until 7pm so if you need any information after that, you can't ask anyone.

The room was very clean and had everything we needed. Free breakfast is included and we could check in flexibly after 7pm. It is relatively close to downtown so has restaurants, banks and cafes.

Bed was OK, but not very comfortable. You can hear everything from neighbors in the night. Even when the upstairs neighbor turns in bed you can hear the bed creaking loudly. Shower was a bit difficult to get both pressure and temperature in a reasonable range at the same time.

Nice to have breakfast to start the day. Location is good, maybe not great since it's a bit shabbier than the north side of the main street, but we still felt safe. We sat in the nice garden after a long day which was lovely.

The Hosteria was a good place to launch a trip into the region.

Hosteria Patagonia, was a cute and comfortable place to stay for a night. We had a family room, which provided space for four people to sleep, separated by a partial wall. The beds were warm and comfortable. The breakfast was adequate, though not exceptional. It was an easy walk to the central part of town.

Great communication ahead of trip. Room was as per photos and has a heater. Location is a 5 minute walk to downtown where all the restaurants are located. Airport is a 20 minute taxi ride. Bus station is a 5 minute taxi ride. Breakfast buffet has breads, cereals, toast, jams, hard boiled eggs, coffee, tea. Gabriella is a terrific host, very helpful!

Beds were uncomfortable and room was stuffy and hot. The window in the bathroom was broken to the shower curtain kept getting blown into you while taking a shower which was very annoying.

No chair in the public space for the guest to sit or relax outside the room. Only one staff could communicate in English.

Beds are very old and need updating. Our room heater had broken knob so 1st night we were unable to turn ours off and had a very hot and restless night. However they were able to assist us with hardware to enable us to turn off an had much improved 2nd and 3rd nights.

Organised airport transfer via accomodation, included breakfast which started early, and provision of really good packed lunch for excursions. Helped to organise taxi to bus terminal early on leaving.
