We really loved this place. As a suggestion for a future improvement, we recommend a new look/update for the toilets/showers.

The location and lake view is so beautiful! It's a stunning place! We also loved how friendly, professional and helpful the staff was and the delicious breakfast. We will definitely come back!

The dining area was dirty in the morning, even though we were the first ones to breakfast. Crumbs all over the table both mornings.

The building is a bit outdated and it’s a bit far on a stone/dirt road

The view is lovely. And there’s a restaurant and a café nearby which is handy. But I think the best part was the staff! Esteban, Ana and Paulina made us feel like we were among friends, we’ll absolutely be back.

Not the property’s fault but booking.com charged more for an extra night when we extended our stay from 1-2 nights. Didn’t realise at first until we got there and had to pay our second night which cost £12 more for some reason. The price was clearly stated in the message on accepting a second night stay which I didn’t realise as we did it the night before, but would have been cheaper to just separately book another night for some reason 🤷🏼‍♀️

It is a little bit pricey. The bed wasn't the most comfortable for my liking.

The breakfast was very extravagant and presented in such a nice way. I absolutely loved the old and historical details, decorations and interior everywhere from the room to the common area. The view from the room was very nice and the terrasse was such a good place to relax and enjoy the wonderful view of the lake – which you can also easily go down to and take a refreshing swim. Staff was very welcoming and helpful, spoke English and had a lot of recommendations for us. There was plenty of parking. The hotel is also very close to the beautiful trail going the Refugio Frei and other stunning viewpoints! Would recommend.

On one day there was no electricity in the room (due to a carnival) but the staff should have informed us early on if they were anticipating a power cut

Very nice old hotel. It is a little bit anticuated but confortable. Some places and furniture were remodelated other remains original. Common places are very nice, specially the terrace and the living room. The view is fantastic!!!! The staff is very polite. They are willing to help you in whatever you need.

The room that is in the first floor and has window in 2 walls is always cold even with the heater. My bad: I was surprised by the price, that was my fault. You need to pay attention to the price in USD rather than the price in ARS.

Excellent, the exclusive house for my family exceeded my expectations. Really big living, with 2 dinning rooms and a spacious kitchen... with 3 bathrooms. I've stayed for 1 week and every member of my family could have their own space as well as we spend good time together during the nights

It's hard to pinpoint something we didn't like that was the hotel's responsibility, but we did had some noisy neighbours for a few days. Something we missed in the room was a mini fridge, so we leave it as a suggestion for future improvements. Also, the restaurant doesn't serves dinner on mondays, and if you don't plan around it it can be a bit of a pickle.

Ours was a 18 days ski trip, and for that matter resting is an important subject. Regarding location, this place is a bit off grid, near Lago Gutiérrez, and this provided the peace and quiet we needed on recovering times/days, being of course near enough to Cerro Catedral, but without all the noisy visitors and after parties. The price was also great, making it cheaper to hire a driver every morning than it is to stay at the base lodges, We never missed the lifts opening time, at 9am. With just a handful of rooms, the staff can run the place smoothly and pristine for the guests. They are all great people, and the calming ambiance makes it all so homely and cosy, you feel cared for. The food is simple but not boring, and we preferred to stay in for dinner multiple days instead of going to the nearby pub and coffee. They also have good wine to offer. The waitress was careful enough to set our prefered table everyday. The rooms are well heated and always cleaned in the morning, and if we stayed in for resting during the morning, they would clean it during our lunch, even if we stayed just a little time off. The lake view is something else. no matter the weather, the views are always stunning. you can see a handful of birds every morning. Near the hotel there's a national park you can visit. It's walking distance, and inside it there are trails you can make. We ended up doing a couple at days we were too sore for skiing but too bored to stay in. Overall, we look forward to stay here again in our next visit to Bariloche.

Rooms were small felt cramped at times.

Fantastic views from hotel room and friendly staff. Heating was fantastic. Beds comfy and bathroom very clean.
