To get here, you need to take the bus from the city - make sure to get a SUBE card. It is the same as the one in other cities such as Buenos Aires, so do not throw it away afterwards.

This is an awesome place to make you feel just like in a movie. We had a great time in the volunteer-run hostel. Everyone was friendly. We had a big kitchen to cook whatever, and plenty of storage space. The bed area was small but it fit the vibe. The number of toilets and showers was amazing. You can hike, bike and walk around the beautiful area.

A little long way from the Town, but there is 20 number bus. There is only one kettle and it was almost dead. And there is nothing outside to keep your washed closes not to fly by the wind.

Good staff, beautiful place, near some tracks.

    - noises and smells from the kitchen were very much penetrating the dorms - the bathrooms were cleaned way too rarely!

    - I liked being in the nature, far away from the centre. Still a bus stop and a bike rental are close. Also the surrounding is quite and peaceful - I got a capsule with an empty capsule above, so there was plenty space for my things - the staff is super nice

There is no curtain on the upper beds. And ceiling in upper bed is so close that it could hit your heads or face upon getting up. There are no doors apart from bathrooms. Which means voices, music, noise and smells directly go to dorms

    Warm cozy atmosphere

The place wasn’t super clean, it is a very dusty area so it would be nice to clean the shared areas more frequently. Also the breakfast is very basic

Very nice staff and good location to do the cerro campanario hike and circuito Chico :) good value for money

    Nothing

Loved the beds, the bathrooms and especially the staff. Highly recommend. There is an old review on here that says there aren’t showers curtains. There are now. I had everything I needed and the volunteers that work here are very friendly and have lots of local information. Loved my stay here.

    Everything was great!

Amazing place, amazing people, amazing atmosphere! A gem of a place, quiet, in nature, but also, an easy bus ride away from the town of Bariloche and bus station. Remember to purchase a sube bus card to use on the bus at the civic center in town or a kiosk at the bus station. There is a small supermarket one km away from the hostel with all the basics(they take card), and you can also reload your sube there (cash only). You can pay for the hostel with card, as well as cash. There is a kitchen with a stove and an oven, refrigerators, some free basics, like, salt, pepper, cooking oil. They have lockers too. The bathrooms and showers are in good order, and the water is hot! Also, when nights get chilly, they turn up the heat, so it's warm and cozy. All in all, a beautiful place with very kind people. Recommend!

There is a bus to get there but you must have a Sube card to ride. The downside to the location is the grocery store and restaurants are a bus ride away. Also, the bathroom stalls are an awkward height and you can almost see outside when sitting down.

The property is so nice and is in an excellent location if you want to be further away from town. They also have bike rentals to do the Circuito Chico. The kitchen is HUGE and the common spaces are comfortable. The beds are comfortable and I don’t know about other spaces but we had a window to look outside. The bathrooms were fairly clean and comfortable. There is warm water and the heater is on at night.

Owner seems to be rather profit oriented, compared to other hostels at same price level in Bariloche the breakfast was really poor (cheapest sort of bread used). Owner refused to accept any USD cash below 100 USD notes due to allegedly poorer exchange rate (ridiculous).

The place is run by volunteers. Mostly nice young people. They did not clean the toilets well, in fact for one day not at all. At night it can get noisy due to loud talking in the lobby area and lack of any noisy insulation. There is not even a door to the dorm room. The capsule was very narrow. Lots of impractical aspects like position of the plug etc

Booking.com advertises this as a "room" however this is a shared dorm. Nowhere states this is a shared dorm only that there is a shared bathroom and so is very misleading. The pictures do not make it clear. WiFi also very slow and hostel very far from Bariloche centre but ok to access via bus

Friendly, helpful staff that spoke English. Good kitchen facilities and nice, chilled outdoor setting with own bar

I booked a single room, but was put up in a dormitory with minuscule single wooden "cells" with a flimsy cloth closure, basically no privacy.

Very little, as this is not what I expected

Not a place to get a restful sleep

There is no separation between the common area downstairs, the kitchen and all the capsules / beds. The door from the bathroom is making a shrill sound each time someone opens it and it gets pretty hot at night and without the possibility to open a window. The night I slept there, there were other travellers downstairs talking loudly and playing music till past 2am and also cooking. You get all the smells and sounds from downstairs and for me, it made it very difficult / impossible to fall asleep before 3am. Breakfast is more than average.

The capsules themselves are quite nice, the matress was confortable and bed linen clean.

The hostel was very dirty (bedsheets not washed, the extra bedding that is), kitchen sink always dirty, bathroom very nasty (bins too small, always paper with pee, blood and 💩 everywhere. This is on the people using it though, I do not understand why people are so nasty. Top for the hostel though, cleaning more often or buying new and bigger bins so that there is enough place for toilet paper waste worth 1 day).

Very pretty location, amidst nature and valleys! A but far from the city Centre (like 40minutes away)! Easy access to buses though!
