Breakfast is very basic. Advice for others: if coming back to collect luggage, ensure you double check you both understand the time as staff are not always there and we waited 30 mins to get let in.

Anabella and her partner were very accommodating and friendly. Great communication via WhatsApp to keep as updated which was amazing as we had limited phone service coverage in El Chalafate. The rooms and facilities were clean and comfortable and the place had such a homey feel. We wished we had stayed for longer :)

You can only pay cash which is annoying when traveling from abroad.

Central location in El Calafate but my room basically did not have any daylight. Bed was comfy, shower was warm.

The place is cozy, though a room that I booked was too small for me and my daughter. If you are backpackers it will be fine, but we came with 4 suitcases. The hostess, Anabella, is a sweetheart and she offered us to look for another place since she had a bigger room available only on a third day. We stayed 2 days in a smaller room and as a gesture of hospitality were given a whole private apartment adjacent to the main house. If it is available I recommend to book it. Dining room is cozy. Breakfast is modest but they offer eggs, some fruits, home made marmalade and home made pastry. Location is a few steps away from the central street.

We booked our room due to the kitchen facilities pictured, but in reality we couldn't use the gas stove to cook.

The staff, particularly Annabelle, were so lovely - everyone we spoke to was welcoming and accommodating and even cooked us breakfast late when we misread the time that it finished. Lovely, homey style accommodation very close to the Main Street.

Having to pay cash on arrival is a pain in Argentina. Western Union is the only option for cash in Calefate and we’re limited to $100 in ARS. It took us 2hours to get cash after a long bus ride. Hotel needs to take credit cards for 3+ days.

As the room did not have its own bathroom — itself not a problem — it could have had more conveniences.

Anna Bella was a good communicator and a helpful hosts. Her breakfasts were delicious. The common area was welcoming and comfortable.

The room only has curtains and a lot of light comes in from the street, so if you like sleeping in total darkness, bring a sleep mask or something else to block the light.

First of all, the staff. Anabella and Luciano were not only very kind, as well as very efficient. Our room was pretty spacious, once we took the chalet option. The room was equipped with a small kitchen, and as our departure flight was super early, Luciano was careful to leave us some food the day before, so we didn't leave without breakfast. It is not far from the Main Street, so we did almost everything walking. Anabella helped us with several information regarding currency exchange and transportation.

The place is very homely and cozy! The personnel is very friendly and speaks excellent english. The breakfast is prepared freshly for you every morning. There is great selection of choices and it all tastes great.

The bed was quite hard and not comfortable.

It's a small and cozy B&B. Anabella was amazing, very helpful and really nice. She gave us advice what to do and where to go. To the city center it's just a 5 minutes walk. The breakfast was very good with homemade jam and cakes. The garden is beautiful. We enjoyed staying here.

Shower head in room 2 needs replacing. Very poor flow. Just a little bit of TLC and it could be great. Safety deposit box in the room would have been good.

The brother & sister running the hotel were very nice & helpful. Breakfast was nice but a bit of variety each day would have been better. The communal area was lovely with plants & ornaments & a book exchange for guests.

We took the apartment (not the rooms) and was very noisy ( the dog next to us and the buses for the early pick up). Also they didn’t filled the bottles of shampoo in the shower during our stay

We asked for quite room, but noise from living room was loud. It's not something terrible, it's a hostel, so in some case you need to count with it. As well our room have nice big window, with view to the garden, but in garden were sitting people from other room (almost under our window) and you don't have anything on windows so they can see you. We managed it with ''bedcarpet'' , so again it wasn't terrible, just maybe something to improve :)

Anastacia who waited for us was amazing! She explained everything, she wrote us in advance, waited for us with check-in, she was very, very nice and professional :) Thanks for that! Breakfast are good, hostel is family business I guess, they have nice garden, flowers, you can see running chickens outside - it all felt very friendly. Locality is also great. It's a hostel and they clean your room each day! (bed, towels, bathroom, everything is clean and smelling nice!) We would book it again :)
