Each review score is between 1-10. To get the overall score that you see, we add up all the review scores we’ve received and divide that total by the number of review scores we’ve received. We use a weighted review system which means that the more recent the review, the bigger the impact on the total review score calculation. In addition, guests can give separate ‘subscores’ in crucial areas, such as location, cleanliness, staff, comfort, facilities, value for money and free Wi-Fi. Note that guests submit their subscores and their overall scores independently, so there’s no direct link between them.
You can review an Accommodation that you booked through our Platform if you stayed there or if you arrived at the property but didn’t actually stay there. To edit a review you’ve already submitted, please contact our Customer Service team.
We have people and automated systems that specialise in detecting fake reviews submitted to our Platform. If we find any, we delete them and, if necessary, take action against whoever is responsible.
Anyone else who spots something suspicious can always report it to our Customer Service team, so our Fraud team can investigate.
Ideally, we would publish every review we receive, whether positive or negative. However, we won’t display any review that includes or refers to (among other things):
To make sure reviews are relevant, we may only accept reviews that are submitted within 3 months of checking out, and we may stop showing reviews once they’re 36 months old – or if the Accommodation has a change of ownership.
An Accommodation may choose to reply to a review.
When you see multiple reviews, the most recent ones will be at the top, subject to a few other factors (what language a review is in, whether it’s just a rating or contains comments as well, etc.). If you like, you can sort and/or filter them (by time of year, review score, etc.).
We sometimes show external review scores from other well-known travel websites. We make it clear when we’ve done this.
These guidelines and standards aim to keep the content on Booking.com relevant and family-friendly without limiting expression of strong opinions. They are also applicable regardless of the sentiment of the comment.
Contributions should be travel related. The most helpful contributions are detailed and help others make better decisions. Please don’t include personal, political, ethical, or religious commentary. Promotional content will be removed and issues concerning Booking.com’s services should be routed to our Customer Service or Accommodation Service teams.
Contributions should be appropriate for a global audience. Please avoid using profanity or attempts to approximate profanity with creative spelling, in any language. Comments and media that include 'hate speech', discriminatory remarks, threats, sexually explicit remarks, violence, and the promotion of illegal activity are not permitted.
All content should be genuine and unique to the guest. Reviews are most valuable when they are original and unbiased. Your contribution should be yours. Booking.com property partners should not post on behalf of guests or offer incentives in exchange for reviews. Attempts to bring down the rating of a competitor by submitting a negative review will not be tolerated.
Respect the privacy of others. Booking.com will make an effort to obscure email addresses, telephone numbers, website addresses, social media accounts, and similar details.
The opinions expressed in contributions are those of Booking.com customers and properties and not of Booking.com. Booking.com does not accept responsibility or liability for any reviews or responses. Booking.com is a distributor (without any obligation to verify) and not a publisher of these comments and responses.
By default, reviews are sorted based on the date of the review and on additional criteria to display the most relevant reviews, including but not limited to: your language, reviews with text, and non-anonymous reviews. Additional sorting options may be available (by type of traveller, by score, etc.).

United StatesThe pool was too cold, so we couldn’t enjoy the facility.
This was my second time in Buenos Aires and I loved my trip. The hotel is beautiful and well maintained. The staff was friendly. The spa was nice!

TurkeyThe breakfast was quite ordinary, inside the breakfast room is too cold (same issue for dinner time at El Mercado). The hotel was not very clean - there were tissues and things on the ground on our floor when we arrived which were still there when we left :) The bed was very clean but the room in general did not feel super clean. There two things could be improved.
We went to Faena to enjoy the facility + restaurant + Rojo Tango. We enjoyed the pool area, ate at El Mercado, watched the show at Rojo Tango, and enjoyed the live music at the Library Bar. It was very fun! Live music at the bar was a pleasant surprise. The room was quite large, automatic blackout curtains, windows you can open, and a bathroom you can fully open the curtains of to let the daylight in - nice touch.

QatarAside from the kitchy decor, which is part of the brand, it seems, the hotel.is close to a swamp, so it's impossible to avoid the mosquitoes in the morning and evening if you're trying to eat or drink outside. Also, they don't provide certain amenities you'd expect from a 5-star hotel, like in room coffee and tea. Parking was 80 USD per night. They do their best to upsell this way.
Beautiful hotel. Staff were great.

BrazilAir conditioning running water (leaking). Room doesn’t have a very good blackout and looks smaller than the announcement (it says it would be 35m2 but I don’t believe it is).

United StatesThe rooms are very poorly designed. They are technically large but with a lot of useless space. The bed and bathroom are shoved next to each other in one corner. The rest of the space, well over half the total, has only the closet and a small table with a couple of chairs. There is barely enough room to walk around the bed. The night tables are tiny due to the lack of room on the sides. The room phone literally takes up the entire surface on the one side. The all glass bathroom is within 2 feet of the bathroom door. There is an awkward to use curtain for privacy on the bed side. The bathroom is tiny. There is no door separating the commode, just a partial glass divider. The glass enclosed shower is on the other side. The single sink is small and shallow. Water gets everywhere. All enclosed in one small compartment. Virtually impossible for two people to occupy at the same time. In short, the room design is a big drawback.
The service is top notch and worthy of a 5 star accommodation. The breakfast is excellent as is the Italian restaurant. The dinner with the tango show is good but nothing special considering the price. The tango show itself is outstanding. We did not use other amenities as we spent only one night.

United KingdomRoom devoid of any real decoration thought - plain walls and no pictures which made our duplex suite feel rather lack lustre. Downstairs sitting area a bit of a waste of space & not really worth having. A slight fusty smell to the room was not a great welcome. However, all the positive of staying in this hotel & location outweighed these negatives.
Beautiful public rooms, great pool area and outstanding staff. Spa & gym looked good but didn’t use it. Nothing was too much trouble. They recommended great venues for food and drink and their Tango show was fabulous.

SwitzerlandThe spa area is very small, there is just 2 things you can do and a relax room. This is not a hotel to come and relax in, it’s for partying. The massages are overpriced for Buenos Aires standards. Most of the staff were great, one women spoke poorly to us.

BrazilThe bathrooms are so small and tight for two people, we had a 70m2 suite but i didn't know or not noticed that the bedroom was at the 2nd floor and the living room on the first floor, which really had no use for us but it was not really showed or specified in the picture during the booking. To get to the 2nd floor, we had to climb a narrow stair which was really not very nice and can't imagine for people that has bad knees. i wouldn't book this type of suite again at Faena, even it is bigger on size but actually the room is small. our room had the street view, in overall we paid for a bigger room but didn't really enjoy it, the rate on booking was not breakfast included, and it was a much higher rate comparing with four season, Alvear and other 5stars hotel. the corridors of the hotel are darks, anyway, i felt the price value was not worth for the room we paid.
it's located in puerto madero area but it's a little far walking distance though to the restaurants; and there is no much going on around there, there is a little convenience store 1/2 block away and a pharmacy 2 blocks away, and that's about it. the hotel is beautiful, no wonder it's a philips stark design and arquitecture is beautfiul as well, the foods are good, the tango Rojo is a huge plus as it's inside the hotel, the lobby bathroom is beautiful as well, even it's a pretty dark decoration but in general with beautiful design and decor. everything was clean, bed comfy with great pillows and nice comfy sheet with good amenity. the concierge was excellent, the service was great and efficient, immediate. we arrange a city tour with Mario who was a real excellent tour guide, the van during the tour was great as well. the hotel transfer was great all the way to pick us up at a longer distance airport San Fernando, and i had no problem changing the pick up time at the last minute. the service was excellent.
