Each review score is between 1-10. To get the overall score that you see, we add up all the review scores we’ve received and divide that total by the number of review scores we’ve received. We use a weighted review system which means that the more recent the review, the bigger the impact on the total review score calculation. In addition, guests can give separate ‘subscores’ in crucial areas, such as location, cleanliness, staff, comfort, facilities, value for money and free Wi-Fi. Note that guests submit their subscores and their overall scores independently, so there’s no direct link between them.
You can review an Accommodation that you booked through our Platform if you stayed there or if you arrived at the property but didn’t actually stay there. To edit a review you’ve already submitted, please contact our Customer Service team.
We have people and automated systems that specialise in detecting fake reviews submitted to our Platform. If we find any, we delete them and, if necessary, take action against whoever is responsible.
Anyone else who spots something suspicious can always report it to our Customer Service team, so our Fraud team can investigate.
Ideally, we would publish every review we receive, whether positive or negative. However, we won’t display any review that includes or refers to (among other things):
To make sure reviews are relevant, we may only accept reviews that are submitted within 3 months of checking out, and we may stop showing reviews once they’re 36 months old – or if the Accommodation has a change of ownership.
An Accommodation may choose to reply to a review.
When you see multiple reviews, the most recent ones will be at the top, subject to a few other factors (what language a review is in, whether it’s just a rating or contains comments as well, etc.). If you like, you can sort and/or filter them (by time of year, review score, etc.).
We sometimes show external review scores from other well-known travel websites. We make it clear when we’ve done this.
These guidelines and standards aim to keep the content on Booking.com relevant and family-friendly without limiting expression of strong opinions. They are also applicable regardless of the sentiment of the comment.
Contributions should be travel related. The most helpful contributions are detailed and help others make better decisions. Please don’t include personal, political, ethical, or religious commentary. Promotional content will be removed and issues concerning Booking.com’s services should be routed to our Customer Service or Accommodation Service teams.
Contributions should be appropriate for a global audience. Please avoid using profanity or attempts to approximate profanity with creative spelling, in any language. Comments and media that include 'hate speech', discriminatory remarks, threats, sexually explicit remarks, violence, and the promotion of illegal activity are not permitted.
All content should be genuine and unique to the guest. Reviews are most valuable when they are original and unbiased. Your contribution should be yours. Booking.com property partners should not post on behalf of guests or offer incentives in exchange for reviews. Attempts to bring down the rating of a competitor by submitting a negative review will not be tolerated.
Respect the privacy of others. Booking.com will make an effort to obscure email addresses, telephone numbers, website addresses, social media accounts, and similar details.
The opinions expressed in contributions are those of Booking.com customers and properties and not of Booking.com. Booking.com does not accept responsibility or liability for any reviews or responses. Booking.com is a distributor (without any obligation to verify) and not a publisher of these comments and responses.
By default, reviews are sorted based on the date of the review and on additional criteria to display the most relevant reviews, including but not limited to: your language, reviews with text, and non-anonymous reviews. Additional sorting options may be available (by type of traveller, by score, etc.).

CanadaEstancia Bonanza is an absolute dream! I cannot recommend enough. Me and my boyfriend (22 and 27) backpacked our way through Patagonia and wanted to treat ourselves to 2 nights of quiet luxury at the end of our journey, and that's absolutely what we got. So worth it. The staff is exceptionally friendly and their attention to detail really makes you feel at home, the land and views are incredible, the activities are well-organized and so special, the food is amazing, the rooms are so well-made, all the amenities like the hammocs, the tea room, the spa/sauna are just the cherry on top to spend an unforgettable stay! Could not have been better. If you are hesitating to splurge, do it.

United KingdomIt was amazing and can not fault it! Booking.com implied an alcoholic drink was included in the price for dinner but this was not the case. But it’s all good just would be good to be clear.
This whole stay was magical! From the moment you arrive it feels like an adventure. The staff were incredible and nothing was too much. The views from our room was amazing of Fitz Roy. We reserved the hot tub, sauna and cold plunge for the evening and it was magical with all the stars. The evening meal was delicious and there was a “tea time” where you can get a hot drink and a snack at 4pm. Buffet style breakfast with cereal, cheese, ham, fruit, cakes, bread, juice, hot drinks. Then an order placed for eggs. We had the choice of horse riding, self guided hiking or cycling, the activities are dependent on staff and other bookings made (for example via Ferrata is sometimes an option but this was booked by a full group). Horse riding was lovely and the staff allowed us to do this a second time even though we had checked out!

CanadaWe were very disappointed by the sauna closer on our second day. To say the reservations office was unapologetic is an understatement. They told us “well we heard you used it your first day”. Yes, but we paid a lot of money to stay here and their attitude really soured what would have been a perfect review. They need to realize if they offer a service they either need to 1) warn guests that the sauna is unavailable, or 2) offer some type of compensation. Very, very bad service from the reservations office, especially considering how amazing the on-site staff is!
The property, the food, the staff, the experience was worth every penny. It’s a “once in a lifetime experience” you will not regret! We were blown away by the beauty of the property and the cabins. To see the stars and Milky Way clearly at night, to have horses and sheep running by your room is unreal. You feel like you’re in a movie.

United KingdomNothing!!
Our time here was really special. The team at the lodge (Mariana and Adi especially) made us feel right at home. All of the facilities were incredible, the room itself and the hot tub on the hill overlooking Fitz Roy were just incredible. The food the chef cooked was amazing as well. We thoroughly enjoyed our rides out on the horses, we got to see some beautiful views on horseback. We felt like every need was catered for, we were picked up and dropped off to the bus stop. We were also dropped off to the start of the trail to laguna los tres and picked up from town after a long 22km trek! We really enjoyed that WiFi was only in common areas as we could enjoy our books & the view without distraction. The lodge has a special place in our hearts! You will not regret booking here.

Antigua & BarbudaNothing could be done better! Every requirement we had such as extra ice , brewed coffee for the morning all met with a huge smile!
Rustic chic - rating it 5* for service and food. Loved all the activities on offer and really enjoyed talking with the guides and all the staff. Just wish our Spanish had been better. The dining room and living room great places to mingle and the tea house had awesome breakfast with the most stunning views. We stayed in the Ponderosa and loved the quiet isolation in this very comfortable house and the easy amble to breakfast each day.

United StatesHonestly, we're pretty chill, outdoors people so nothing stood out as needs improvement. The restaurant was running out of wine by our 3d day, but that may have been due to us :) Maybe some yard games to play?
Couldn't ask for a better way to spend the last few days in Patagonia. The staff was awesome, and we were blown away by the room for being off grid. If you're in to astrophotography, I literally just set up outside our room with enough range to take photos while warm in bed. Super epic.

United StatesThe property is very secluded, requiring a ride from town to a swinging bridge (where you'll be toting your own belongings) to another car. If you're pressed for time or require wifi, this is not the location for you!
Set off on its own with no other facilities around, this place is really set deep in nature. Right up against the Fitz Roy range, the views are unbeatable! The dinner service was spectacular too - though a more robust wine list would be appreciated!

United StatesNothing to improve on - a true 11 out of 10 experience!
Estancia Bonanza is truly a slice of heaven on earth! I had expected good things but never thought it would be one of the best experiences ever. The staff was exceptional - they truly made us feel like part of their family and that they genuinely cared about our comfort. As for the estancia itself, waking up and seeing the glacier on Mt. Fitzroy every morning and knowing that each day was going to even better than the one before was truly uplifting. We are already looking forward to next season so that we can return and stay even longer.

RussiaActually food for lunch and dinner is not always good. Maybe we needed to negotiate more, but i didnt want to make chef do smth special for me, i wanted to try what they suggest and in 50% cases it was not tasty and you have no more choice because there isn't a menu to choose (only in advance you can ask smth). Water in shower is not hot, if you wait some time, after cold, you will receive warm water. When you don't lighten fireplace its really cold in the room.
It is a very special place. And old farm transformed to a hotel. You have horse riding, mountain bicycles, hiking here. There are a lot of animals in this area. We loved all the staff: Paula, Leo, waitress in the restaurant, chef, thank you for your care about us, you made this stay great. Breakfast was very good, really nice. Horse riding was awesome.

This is a truly unique place! unbeatable views of Fitz Roy from the accommodation. All the staff are amazing and you will truly feel at home. Everyone went out of their way to make you feel welcome. The horse riding is highly recommended and the gaucho a very good guide and an amazing campfire cook! Only beaten by the chef preparing your dinners: intimate, regional, creative, truly amazing!!! Overall: if you look for a unique experience in the Fitz Roy area, love good food, love the outdoors, love horses, love good people, love a fire and and a cabin: This is the place to be!!!! (And if you would have a problem during your stay (I doubt it), Paula and Fernanda will take of it)
