Each review score is between 1-10. To get the overall score that you see, we add up all the review scores we’ve received and divide that total by the number of review scores we’ve received. We use a weighted review system which means that the more recent the review, the bigger the impact on the total review score calculation. In addition, guests can give separate ‘subscores’ in crucial areas, such as location, cleanliness, staff, comfort, facilities, value for money and free Wi-Fi. Note that guests submit their subscores and their overall scores independently, so there’s no direct link between them.
You can review an Accommodation that you booked through our Platform if you stayed there or if you arrived at the property but didn’t actually stay there. To edit a review you’ve already submitted, please contact our Customer Service team.
We have people and automated systems that specialise in detecting fake reviews submitted to our Platform. If we find any, we delete them and, if necessary, take action against whoever is responsible.
Anyone else who spots something suspicious can always report it to our Customer Service team, so our Fraud team can investigate.
Ideally, we would publish every review we receive, whether positive or negative. However, we won’t display any review that includes or refers to (among other things):
To make sure reviews are relevant, we may only accept reviews that are submitted within 3 months of checking out, and we may stop showing reviews once they’re 36 months old – or if the Accommodation has a change of ownership.
An Accommodation may choose to reply to a review.
When you see multiple reviews, the most recent ones will be at the top, subject to a few other factors (what language a review is in, whether it’s just a rating or contains comments as well, etc.). If you like, you can sort and/or filter them (by time of year, review score, etc.).
We sometimes show external review scores from other well-known travel websites. We make it clear when we’ve done this.
These guidelines and standards aim to keep the content on Booking.com relevant and family-friendly without limiting expression of strong opinions. They are also applicable regardless of the sentiment of the comment.
Contributions should be travel related. The most helpful contributions are detailed and help others make better decisions. Please don’t include personal, political, ethical, or religious commentary. Promotional content will be removed and issues concerning Booking.com’s services should be routed to our Customer Service or Accommodation Service teams.
Contributions should be appropriate for a global audience. Please avoid using profanity or attempts to approximate profanity with creative spelling, in any language. Comments and media that include 'hate speech', discriminatory remarks, threats, sexually explicit remarks, violence, and the promotion of illegal activity are not permitted.
All content should be genuine and unique to the guest. Reviews are most valuable when they are original and unbiased. Your contribution should be yours. Booking.com property partners should not post on behalf of guests or offer incentives in exchange for reviews. Attempts to bring down the rating of a competitor by submitting a negative review will not be tolerated.
Respect the privacy of others. Booking.com will make an effort to obscure email addresses, telephone numbers, website addresses, social media accounts, and similar details.
The opinions expressed in contributions are those of Booking.com customers and properties and not of Booking.com. Booking.com does not accept responsibility or liability for any reviews or responses. Booking.com is a distributor (without any obligation to verify) and not a publisher of these comments and responses.
By default, reviews are sorted based on the date of the review and on additional criteria to display the most relevant reviews, including but not limited to: your language, reviews with text, and non-anonymous reviews. Additional sorting options may be available (by type of traveller, by score, etc.).

United KingdomCould have been more choices at restaurant as it was geared for pricey, wine pairing menus, so difficult to get any basic food or snacks like chips or crips if not too hungry. The menu was the same for lunch or dinner. the pool although pretty wasn't heated so like a cold plunge pool (in april when we went). Although the wine was exceptional there wasnt much choice in other drinks.
Fantastic views over the vineyards. Pretty wine cellar and fantastically friendly staff. Staff went over and above to welcome us. Hotel was clean and very nice, very authentic and right in the heart of the wine producing region. Good facilities for a small boutique hotel. Nightly free win tasting was unique and nice to meet other guests. Food for meals and breakfast was very nice as well. Such a relaxing few days and would recommend this hotel or happily return.

United KingdomIn some corners a bit more maintenance TLC would have been nice, and the hot water flow in my room (six) was limited. The location is nice, but you can't walk anywhere, you need to frequently use public bus, Uber/Cabify/Taxi, or your car.
The setup of Club Tapiz, the staff, the breakfast, everything excellent. It's also a stop on the route of the strongly recommended Vitivinicola bus. Nice artwork throughout the property, and a good restaurant. But what made it stand out was the daily free wine tasting. The wines themselves were nice, though understandably not top of the range. However, the tasting brought together guests in a manner I have not yet seen in a hotel, it created a great social and communication opportunity, stories and tips were swapped. A great idea, thanks a lot!

United KingdomA calm haven to return to after a day out in the Mendoza region. The front desk staff were both lovely and super helpful. The swimming pool was a much needed bonus on hot days and the complementary wine tasting every night was excellent, with different wines from their 3 wine estates every night.

United StatesDinning choices were poor. overworked and under trained waitstaff. Supervisor overworked, asked to do too much. The plumbing system broke down. First night shower only had cold water. Next day NO WATER AT ALL.

United StatesTwo things I would say about this hotel was that one afternoon we went to use the pool and it had many bugs and debris in it. The staff were cleaning the pool but only cleaned the bottom. When we went to the pool later in the evening it had been cleaned. Also, our showers were cold one morning of our stay and the bathrooms in the hotel are pretty outdated. I would still recommend this hotel.
I highly recommend this place to anyone traveling to the Mendoza area. This is a gated hotel with 24 hour security. There are beautiful grape zines surrounding the property on multiple sides. We were greeted by staff and given a tour of the grounds. All staff members throughout our stay were very kind and friendly. Our room was very cute and comfortable. I slept well in our bed. The staff also made sure to tidy up our room and make our bed multiple times a day. Every morning we woke up to sound of birds. It felt like we were in a jungle. Breakfast was plentiful and delicious. The pool was a nice touch. We had dinner one night at the hotel and it was very good. Every evening there is a free wine tasting for hotel guests. We joined the tasting one night and it was a great way to meet new people and try some delicious wines. The hotel also offers a free wine tasting and winery tour of Bodega Zolo, which is a 20 min drive away. The staff at the winery were also great. Overall, it was a great experience staying at Club Tapiz.

I stayed here with my 5yo son and absolutely loved it! The personnel was very welcoming and friendly, facilities including the pool and wine tasting in the evening were great. The maze is extended and really worth a visit and the whole place was just covered in a wonderful fragrance of the carefully placed and maintained fragrant roses, jasmine, lavender etc.

United StatesThis hotel was amazing! The entire staff goes above and beyond to make your stay special. The property is beautiful, right on a vineyard with views of the mountains, and even has a carpet museum attached. The free wine tastings every night were an added bonus and we met some other great guests during our stay. We ate at the restaurant on property several times as well, and can't recommend it enough. Overall we loved this hotel and will definitely be visiting again. I recommend staying here 100%, it was a highlight of our trip to Argentina.

United StatesNothing! Its and older hotel but they have everything you need and make you feel like you are at home.
Club Tapiz is an amazing boutique hotel with the friendliest staff I've ever had at a hotel! The receptionist are amazing!! They go out of their way to help you with restaurant ideas and winery reservations and anything else you might need and always with a big smile! The breakfast was always good and the dinners where 5stars. The location is in the heart of wine country and they have sister wineries and offer free wine tasting every night with olive oil tasting included. I 100% recommend this hotel and will be back next year.

SwitzerlandNothing. It is a nice countryside hotel
The staff was very helpful and friendly Location is very good between Mendoza city and some of the most famous vineyards of Argentina in a quiet and peaceful location but less than 1km from Rout 40 Breakfast was absolutely delicious, everything is home made. It is not the true continental breakfast but the selection of food to choose is in any case very broad of high quality food. In addition, the breakfast-room has amazing views of the Andes. We loved it!! We had 2 dinners at the restaurant. Everything we eat was absolutely delicious, very high standard cooking experience The swimming pool is a plus after a warm day The small carpet museum The wine tastings at the end of the day before dinner was a very good way to know some of the wines produced at Club Tapiz in a friendly environment together with other guests. We also had a guided tour with wine tasting at the vineyard Zolo, which is also part of Club Tapiz.
