How guest reviews work
Each review score is between 1-10. To get the overall score that you see, we add up all the review scores we’ve received and divide that total by the number of review scores we’ve received. We use a weighted review system which means that the more recent the review, the bigger the impact on the total review score calculation. In addition, guests can give separate ‘subscores’ in crucial areas, such as location, cleanliness, staff, comfort, facilities, value for money and free Wi-Fi. Note that guests submit their subscores and their overall scores independently, so there’s no direct link between them.
You can review an Accommodation that you booked through our Platform if you stayed there or if you arrived at the property but didn’t actually stay there. To edit a review you’ve already submitted, please contact our Customer Service team.
We have people and automated systems that specialise in detecting fake reviews submitted to our Platform. If we find any, we delete them and, if necessary, take action against whoever is responsible.
Anyone else who spots something suspicious can always report it to our Customer Service team, so our Fraud team can investigate.
Ideally, we would publish every review we receive, whether positive or negative. However, we won’t display any review that includes or refers to (among other things):
- Politically sensitive comments
- Promotional content
- Illegal activities
- Personal or sensitive information (e.g. emails, phone numbers or credit card info)
- Swear words, sexual references, hate speech, discriminatory remarks, threats, or references to violence
- Spam and fake content
- Animal cruelty
- Impersonation (e.g. if the writer is claiming to be someone else)
- Any violation of our review guidelines.
To make sure reviews are relevant, we may only accept reviews that are submitted within 3 months of checking out, and we may stop showing reviews once they’re 36 months old – or if the Accommodation has a change of ownership.
An Accommodation may choose to reply to a review.
When you see multiple reviews, the most recent ones will be at the top, subject to a few other factors (what language a review is in, whether it’s just a rating or contains comments as well, etc.). If you like, you can sort and/or filter them (by time of year, review score, etc.).
We sometimes show external review scores from other well-known travel websites. We make it clear when we’ve done this.

The bath had no plug and the water never got very hot but OK for shower. The wifi signal was always weak in room 7. My mobile internet was also poor, so making future online plans was difficult. Wi-Fi boosters are not expensive, the hotel should invest in them. A kettle, tea and coffee in the room would also be an appreciated upgrade.
Good location, helpful staff. Some reviews said there were no eggs for breakfast but I got scrambled eggs! I really liked Mendoza!

The hotel has a style. It is very artistic and bohemian. This feature gives an extra feeling to the stay in Mendoza . One feels the city across the passed years. This all thanks to the owner of the place who created the artistic atmosphere and apparently realized an interesting vision of business in this place. We thoroughly enjoyed our stay there ! I arrive quite early in the morning and I asked if I could check in a bit earlier, but the receptionist insisted that check in time was 2pm, even if rooms were becoming available few hours earlier as they were getting cleaned little by little. Also, I had to leave my luggage at the reception as they don’t have any room to secure the luggage, I didn’t feel comfortable with that.
The other receptionist, the young guy working on afternoons shifts , was very available and open to assist.

Bathroom fitout in the room showing age.
Friendly and helpful staff, and a great location in a quiet but really interesting suburb in the city, lots of great architecture and places to eat. The hotel is in a cool building and the room had good heating and a nice big bed.

Room 10 needs an update, was small and sheets were not soft at all. But I could find a lot of value in this small hotel.
Location is great. Lady in the front desk was very nice and accommodating.

Room on the street was noisy with passing traffic. Ask for a room in the back.
Very good location within walking distance to a street filled with restaurants and bars. Bedroom was large with comfortable bed and the hotel has a nice pool if you have time to swim.

I loved the location in walking distance to a large city park and close to many delicious restaurants. I enjoyed the calm quiet are around the pool.

This hotel can not be described as boutique. It needs a lot of money soending on it.

The location is excellent being less than a 10 minute stroll from one of the main restaurant / bar hubs, The staff all go the extra mile to ensure that your visit runs smoothly. Breakfast is more than adequate and is included in the room rate and finally the bed, in terms of size and comfort is superb

Even if the size of the room is very small, and common areas furniture look dirty and stained, the worst thing is the unfriendliness of the staff (specially the guy with black tie).

It’s a small property with lots of charm. It has a pre-war vibe to it. It was winter, so I didn’t see the vegetation but I’d love to visit it again during another time of year, when I can see the garden in full bloom.

Our visit to this hotel was extremely disappointing. The room we were given was not only small but also lacked cleanliness. The walls were peeling, and to our dismay, the shower was broken. Despite the receptionist's attempt to offer us another room, it was in no better condition. I cannot comprehend how this hotel has received any positive ratings; it is severely overrated. I would strongly advise against staying here and will not be recommending it to anyone.
