Read more– opens a dialog boxEach review score is between 1 and 10. To get the overall score you see, we add up all the review scores we’ve received and divide that total by the number of them. We use a weighted review system, which means the more recent the review, the bigger the impact on the total review score calculation. Guests can also give separate “subscores” in crucial areas like location, cleanliness, staff, comfort, facilities, value, and free Wifi. Note that guests submit their subscores and overall scores independently, so there’s no direct link between them.
You can review an accommodation that you booked through our platform if you stayed there, or if you got to the property but didn’t actually stay there. To edit a review you’ve already submitted, contact our Customer Service team.
We have people and automated systems that specialize in detecting fake reviews submitted to our platform. If we find any, we delete them and, if necessary, take action against whoever is responsible.
Anyone who spots something suspicious can always report it to our Customer Service team so that our fraud team can investigate.
Ideally, we'd publish every review we get, positive and negative. However, we won’t display any reviews that include or refer to (among other things):
To make sure reviews are relevant, we may only accept reviews that are submitted within 3 months of checking out. We may stop showing reviews once they’re 36 months old, or if the accommodation has a change of ownership.
An accommodation can reply to a review.
When you see multiple reviews, the most recent ones will be at the top, subject to a few other factors (e.g. language, whether it’s just a rating or contains comments as well, etc.). You can sort and/or filter them by time of year, review score, and more.
Sometimes we show external review scores from other well-known travel websites, but make it clear when we do this.
These guidelines and standards aim to keep the content on Booking.com relevant and family-friendly, without limiting expression or strong opinions. They're also applicable regardless of the comment's tone.
Contributions should be travel related. The most helpful contributions are detailed and help others make better decisions. Please don’t include personal, political, ethical, or religious commentary. Promotional content will be removed and issues concerning Booking.com’s services should be routed to our Customer Service or Accommodation Service teams.
Contributions should be appropriate for a global audience. Please avoid using profanity or attempts to approximate profanity with creative spelling, in any language. Comments and media that include hate speech, discriminatory remarks, threats, sexually explicit remarks, violence, or the promotion of illegal activity are not permitted.
All content should be genuine and unique to the guest. Reviews are most valuable when they are original and unbiased. Your contribution should be yours. Booking.com property partners should not post on behalf of guests or offer incentives in exchange for reviews. Attempts to bring down the rating of a competitor by submitting a negative review will not be tolerated.
Respect the privacy of others. Booking.com will make an effort to obscure email addresses, telephone numbers, website addresses, social media accounts, and other similar details.
The opinions expressed in contributions are those of Booking.com customers and properties, and not of Booking.com. Booking.com does not accept responsibility or liability for any reviews or responses. Booking.com is a distributor (without any obligation to verify) and not a publisher of these comments and responses.
By default, reviews are sorted based on the date of the review and on additional criteria to display the most relevant reviews, including but not limited to: your language, reviews with text, and non-anonymous reviews. Additional sorting options might be available (by type of traveler, by score, etc...).

United StatesYou’ve got to be a very independent traveler to stay here as there aren’t any staff except for housekeeping a few hours a day. The owner is easy to reach by WhatsApp if you have questions. Really excellent location. It’s a very quiet place in a cool old building. There isn’t a social vibe at all so if you need that this isn’t the place. The rooms are really nice we like staying here, the kitchen was very handy as well. Very close to everything.

United StatesGreat location, safe and quiet. You need to be a very self sufficient traveler not looking for any socializing to stay here. It is unstaffed except for housekeeping a few hours each day. However, the communication via whats app is really good anytime we had questions etc. very easy to get into the building because they send video instructions. Nice little kitchen to prepare meals. Near walking to everything. Bonus drinkable water cooler in the lobby! We didn’t need to buy more plastic water bottles:))))) We liked it here a lot.

United KingdomLots of mosquitos in the room. We had to go to the shop to buy some Raid to get rid of them before bed.
Close to a great restaurant next door and only short walk to town. Bed was absolutely humongous and shower had good water pressure and lots of hot water.

United KingdomThis place was pretty quiet when I came - that suited me and my needs but if you’re looking for a more party/social spot, you may not find what you’re looking for.
The bedding was super cozy and I surprisingly loved the dormitory style room. It felt very spacious and clean. The staff even pickled fresh mandarins from the tree and offered them to us! Super friendly.

SwitzerlandWe enjoyed our stay at this hotel. The self check-in process in the late evening was very convenient. The room was spacious and well-equipped with a water kettle, fridge, and a nice bathroom. The only downside was the lack of a window; the room only had a large door opening into the courtyard, which we used for fresh air. The shared kitchen was very useful and well-equipped. We particularly liked the courtyard, which had tables in a nice setting, giving it a street café feel and creating a great atmosphere. If other guests also enjoy this common area, it's easy to meet people and enjoy a good vibe. The location was also excellent, just a few blocks from the tourist attractions. Overall, it was a pleasant stay, and we would recommend this BnB for its convenience and atmosphere. However, the payment option for cash was a bit unfair, as it was either in dollars or in ARS but with the blue dollar rate, which would increase the price a lot. I think booking.com should not allow this.

United KingdomThere is nothing I did not like about this property.
This hostal was amazing. It was cute, in the perfect location and the staff were so helpful. The rooms were clean and comfortable, with a fridge, kettle and hair dryer. There was a small seating area outside each room and the shared kitchen was well equipped. I would definitely stay here again, without hesitation, if in Salta. Great place.

IndiaNothing. Everything was super. I would've personally preferred some yellow lighting option in the room because the white light bulbs can be quite harsh. But that's a minor detail and subjective.
Everything. It was spotlessly clean, much better looking than the pictures, at unbeatable VFM, fantastic location just a couple of blocks (under 5 minutes walking) from the centre with one of the best empanada restaurants and two good cafes right next door to it. Pharmacy, tiendas, bakeries all within a block. Felt very safe and secure. There is no social environment. It's a great place to catch up on some R&R though. The kitchen is well equipped too. I booked for 2 nights and stayed for a week to catch up on rest after a gruelling 1.5 months through Patagonia and the tours around Salta.

United StatesGreat staff! Very friendly and accommodating. The location is very near to the main plaza as well as the street with all the Peña bars and also has a fantastic restaurant beside it. It's quiet, comfortable, and has filtered water (very necessary, Salta is hot!). The private rooms have a little fridge, and the shared kitchen looks well supplied.

SwitzerlandThe sink was leaking a little water, but the problem should be easily solved.
The hostel is in a great location, just 2 blocks from the central square. The rooms are large, clean and equipped with everything you need. The owners are helpful, friendly and give good advice. Value for money (with current exchange rates) is exceptional.

VietnamI tried to think of something I didn't like, after 5 minutes of pondering, I gave up.
Andino BnB is much better in real life than what you can see through the photos. It reminds me of top tier hostels that I stayed at in Japan. The building has been renovated recently, it's fresh and modern. The room is huge, so are the lockers, and the bed is very comfortable. Plenty of toilets and showers to go around. The shared bathroom is well ventilated, with high quality sinks installed, and a hair dryer to boot. The entire place is spotlessly clean, and I say that as a clean freak myself. Location is great too, only a few blocks from the main plaza. The people working there are very nice. I had the great pleasure of chatting a bit more with Federico and Rita, such awesome people. If you are very selective about the place you stay, you'll be happy here.
